Just did a quick search. And it looks like the only tickets for sale in Boston are in the $350 range as well as the $60 range. The best and worst seats are all you can buy at this point. There is nothing on the floor in the $150 range. As well as the $97 range. Since there are always $350 tickets for sale. It looks like ticket sales might not be as bad as some people have suggested.

I've heard rumors that opening night sales in Boston were very poor. As a matter of fact the sales may be so poor they might have to cancel opening night of the North American tour. Is this true? I thought the Boston market was a hot bed for the Stones?I know they have already played there 4 times in the last year. But a stadium with nobody in it on opening night could signify the end

@#$%& OFF!!! Don Henley- The Eagles have not put a new album out in over 25 years. Thus, they are a nostalgia act that charges $100's of dollars to hear the same old songs year after year. Who even on their best day are not in the same class as the Stones. Henley forgets the Stones have been very active over the last 25 years. Bon Jovi- I put his weak ass band in the same class as Pois

Ron091: The Stones sound in 1981 sucked. Watch "Let's Spend the Night Togther" and then watch the "Four Flicks" dvd. Not only are the Stones better today THEY ARE SUPERIOR to the 1981 tour. In 81 they played everything so fast sloppy they sucked. They were even worse in 1975. "Listen to Love You Live" it blows. Live Licks is 100% better.

In reality they only sold half that number. Soundscan counts the single purchase of a double cd twice. They count a single purchase as two cd's sold. They only really sold 221,000 (still a solid number)

The Stones still have some great studio work left in them. If they would decide to stop writting shitty ballads (SOL) and dance tracks (RFD) that are aimed at 15 year old girls. Those days are over. Why would the Stones (Mick) want to compete on that level? Been there done that. A great producer (Rick Rubin) could get the Stones to write another masterpiece and stop trying to appeal to the

The Stones have also played the Providence Civic Center. It was sometime between the mid 70's to the early 80's Still Life tour. An appearance from the Stones in Providence (a truly great up and coming city) would be huge. Providence is a hot bed for Stones fans. As a matter of fact Providence radio station 94 WHJY was the most Stones friendly city in America when ABB and Rough Justi

Come on. Oh No, Not you Again,Laugh I Nearly Died and She Saw me Coming are all much better songs and would make much better singles. I don't think Biggest Mistake is that bad. But, it didn't really fit the album and is clearly not single material.

Biggest Mistake should not have even made A Bigger Bang. Yet, it is going to be a single? What the hell are they thinking? Are the Stones trying to capture the Matchbox 20/Phil Collins audience?

Who cares if tickets are slow in such an insignificant market? As long as the Stones continue to break records in the USA all is well with the Stones. Still the biggest touring act in the world.

I'd bet he will tour. But the Stones won't visit out of the way/small markets like New Zeland or the far east anymore. Who cares? As long as they are playing the major markets in the USA and Europe.

He said he does not want to do tours that last two years at a time and go to every corner of the globe. I for one don't blame him. I am half his age and in good health and would not want to keep that schedule. As a matter of fact the article said "Watts is not quitting the band and will still perform live" I don't know what the big deal is. He has said the same thing eve

You have to be a real tool to spend $350 (face value) on a Stones ticket. Jagger and his accountants are laughing at you try and justify the Stones ticket prices. Nothing says rock and roll better than a $350 ticket. What dopes.

It is true the US market is not the only market in the world. But next time around (with a new record label) I hope they do sell more in the US.

There are many people on this board who are saying the Stones won't bother to record another album because ABB did not sell well. What they fail to recognize is that ABB hit #1 on the global chart (spent 3 weeks there) as well as hitting #1 on the Euro chart and #1 in 10-15 indivual countries. ABB got to #3 in the US and #2 in the UK (lost the #1 spot by 11 copies) and made at least a

I agree with Gazza about their next album. I'd like to see an artistic project rather than just putting out product. I am convinced that if the Stones stopped trying to get on MTV (Rain Fall Down etc.) they could turn out another great album or two.

ABB will end it's run selling anywhere from 3-3.5 million copies worldwide. It hit #1 on the global and Euro charts. As well as many indivual countries. ABB is the highest grossing tour ever. There is still life to this band. A Stones/Rick Rubin record would be the way to go in 2007-2008

Sophie B Hawkins- "Dam, I wish I was your love" mentions the Stones. "If I was your girl believe me. I'd turn on the Rolling Stones we could grove along and feel much better" As a matter of fact, I think Hawkins was either a background singer or opened up some dates for the Stones years ago.

There will be about a year or so off. And then the Stones will reconvine for some type of new project.

Hey, why not? This comes from Rubin himself. What does Rubin have to gain by saying he might be working with the Stones? There might be something to this. A new Stones record in 2007?

Rick Rubin is the X-factor the Stones would need to truly produce a great new Stones record. This is very good news.

The only way Van Halen makes any noise is a reunion with David Lee Roth. Besides that nobody cares about them at this point. Sad thing is they killed themselves with the whole lead singer thing.
