Singles? really? It would be better if they made a cool running album with 15 songs on it and release that.... oh, wait. One More Shot though or whatever else there is of un-realesed material - heck yeah, go ahead. gimme singles.

QuoteSilver Dagger Fabulous band. Like them so much that I named my daughter after one of their hits - (not hard to figure out!) I'm just reading Graham Nash's book which is a great read. Here's a song you might not know by them. Kind of mod-ish freakbeat from 66. Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress? ok, perhaps a bit long and a bit hefty with Silver Dagger as the surnam

QuoteRipThisBone I repeat my question (I've known this picture of Bill and KR for years) : When will this docu be on TV in Europe or available on DVD? Bliss posted the link on page 2 (if you mean Under the Influence) I also posted how to save the file.

QuoteLynd8 They are re-releasing "1". How about the Stones release something like 40 licks with a companion DVD of all the video clips! Why the f+++! should they? Quote"Since the band’s demise, the material has been variously packaged, with lessons for record companies looking to milk the cash cows of other artists." The Stones are touring & working (so the plan

It is like a high pitch noise, maybe only me and the dogs hear it? What is that? (and I read the CD footnotes before asking...nada...) Thanks! Always remember to turn the phone off

QuoteLeonidP QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotewith sssoul Maybe what's missing for the OP (who's a young'un ) is the fact that the technology of pressing vinyl means that only so many grooves can go on there before the sound gets badly affected. Apparently the optimum is something like 16 minutes per side but the industry settled on a 20-22 as a sort of standard. These links so

Regarding the lenght of the album - I guess the best way to consume it, and the way it (probably) was intended, would have to be the vinyl format. you activly (get up, stand up, for your right music) have to play four sides of it to get to the end. It also doesn't lend itself very much to listen over headphones. technical, analytic listening won't give much of a wow factor.

Of course it's the real deal. According to guitar tech Pierre de Beauport in the netflix movie, the Gibson is the same year and model as Robert Johnson's. haven't seen the movie myself but was told so.

QuoteHarlem Shuffler The bonus track has the same title as track 6 so it must be an alternative version rather than another song. Big deal. Big deal? It's got Lee @#$%& "Scratch" Perry's voodoo all over it. must have.

Keith apparently with a "The Gibson" L-1 Blues Tribute (from the Netflix trailer). of course this could also be the real deal from the 1920's in pretty great condition.

Ok listened to the track twice. The song has a decent reggae groove with elements of Mexican music with those horn lines. The singing is good for Keith. A bit abrupt breakdown in th
