Quotewonderboy It used to be when the 'hit the wall' they would keep playing, try the song a different way, go to a different song. We've all heard the story of Keith playing the Tumbling Dice chord for 12 straight hours. I think Don is hinting that it might be over for new music. Don also said "Both Keith and Mick have some great new songs," perhaps not enough, what do

Ok, I just listend for the first time. glad I did, its not the attention span tho, it's that frikkin' abominable Adobe Flash software that lets one miss out. why does BBC do this?

Those water slide decals came with model aircraft building kits and where widly available then (probably now too) . like these: can't really take it serious as it was a statement of the late 60s and the 70s. I'd be very much more concened when someone used it in these days.

No one asked, but since the microphone in the large, first pic sticks out so prominent, perhaps you'd like to know what you're looking at. It's a Sennheiser MD 409 U3. a very nice dynamic mic also often used infront of guitar amps. since the XLR connector and capsule are angled at 90° it can dangle in front of a cab without a micstand just by the cable. sorry if this i

QuoteStoneage There is no risk for that, Open-g. Usually the establisment side has all the financial means. When we voted about the Euro here in Sweden the yes-side had billions (SEK) at their disposal. The no-side hardly nothing. Still the no-side won. Which turned out to be benificial for us. I hear you and I'm with you. when a whole population is asked for their vote and the question

Quotemarianna Why was the general population even allowed to vote on this issue? There's a reason there is representational government. I say that as a lifelong resident of California, where we have ballot propositions that can bypass or override the legistature. I have always found that process annoying and prone to being captured by whomever has the most money for big advertising campaigns

Quotekeefriff99 Most American conservatives despise Europe, thinking it's nothing but a bunch of a quasi-socialist nanny-staters, and actively root for it to fail as "proof" that liberal policies don't work (a bald-faced lie, but whatever works for them). That's why they're so happy about this crackup, damn the consequences. ...and can come to the conclusion tha

QuoteKoen So are England, Wales and N Ireland also eliminated from Euro 2016? Nope, but surely they could poll for an exit. also there might be more migrant boats crossing the channel. only this time its the Scots and N Irish heading to mainland.

Shocking news. not good at all. Not a UK anymore but rather devided K if you look at Scotland and Northern Ireland. also right wing is crawling out of the woodwork in many countries. welcome back to medieval times when every county had their own set of rules and taxes. who's next? arrrgh!

Congrats Ronnie. surely Sally and the twins will be thankful for that decision. I've been a heavy smoker for ages and started vaping in 2012. haven't had a single cigarette ever since. it's good for me. Now, If you have an hour to spare, watch this well researched, intelligent piece of medical journalism by BBC's Dr.Mosley Horizon: E-Cigarettes - Miracle or Menace? BB

QuoteStoneage A funny thing is - when someone starts a list thread - suddenly there are 10-15 of them around. They spread like viruses.... true and that's probably the reason why bv moved them into this container, I suppose: Scorcese's "Setlist, where's the setlist!" could go into that box too, imo.

Quotewith sssoul in case it helps someone recognizes a Collings, some of Keith's acoustics are partly visible in the rear here: - Brno july 20th 2007 by Rich/WeSellGuitars as long as i'm at it: Ronnie's Gibson J200s and Mick's Taylors: - ditto Someone on another site told me his friend's company makes all these Backstage/traveling cases and tech racks. t

QuoteDandelionPowderman Did anybody say it was a Les Paul? Someone must have edited their post, because I can't see why Tony Jr.'s Zemaitis should be something else I guess D&G's remark was tongue-in-cheek, a bit like this: Perhaps Matt Lee could get the Zemaitis question across.

QuoteJustinCaseBandDK Quotewith sssoul Okay so these are the screenshots I managed from that clip - if someone has better shots from before the switch please post them! Because that really does look like the rosewood Tele - but WHY?! The black Tele Keith was using for Not Fade Away on the first leg of the Voodoo Lounge Tour have a very special bridge and what looks like two P90

QuoteDEmerson Flew down from Boston. Unlike Dean G., I don't have Argentina shows to compare this to- but I thought Rio last night was pretty friggin' epic! Starting with it POURING rain throughout the entire opening act (who were fantastic BTW). This was my 34th Stones show and it ranks right up there. They were LOUD. My ears are still ringing. Favorite moment? Ronnie's solo a

Quotesarahunwin QuoteMacLaurens Quotesarahunwin Well at least the rain will cool things off and Keith always has his rain stick to stop it right before the show! Haha, is that why he is walking around with that stick? It's a very special rain stick - he always has it at every concert just in case!!!!! If the rain stick fails, I'd be mighty disapointed when all of a sudden it would
