Ryan Adams is a great musician /songwriter, but comes across as a complete @#$%&. I've had tickets for his last 3 U.K tours, and he's cancelled at short-notice,each time. Last month the excuse was "ear infection". No one buys it anymore...the guy is fast losing his fans respect.

I agree....the Stones don't need a support band. The fans don't need "warming-up". It's good kudos and p.r for the support band, and in some cases, probably gives them a career leg-up... so it doesn't bother me that much. "A Ghost Is Born", is a gem of an album. Probably, the best of 2004, in my humble opinion. I saw them live, at the Hammersmith Apollo, London, in March, this year... and they completely blew me away. I'm envious of people , who have got tickets to see the Stones/Wilco show. Make sure you're in your seat, for Wilco! Jeff Tweedy is a talented guy.
