And one more thing.. people hear "Wicked At It Seems" in it, and yes, it does that Keefian Chord structure. But as a whole, I have always weaved it, mostly due to Jagger's performance, as a distant cousin of "Stray Cat Blues". It somehow tries to reach the same effect and feeling.. I think that line of "Are You SCARED" ain't perhaps a co-incidence. But comparing LIS to that classical Beggars Banquet performance, it is really an AOR (cleaned and lamed) version of the same theme. Jagger and the band ain't so haunted sounding, scary, hungry and sexy anymore. Still very nice, though smiling smiley

I'm with you, I think it has all the essential ingredients, that wonderful DIRTY sound being well in there. Am I not mistaken that they performed this song at some hall of fame thing in the States, Mick was wearing that top hat when they came on ?

have always liked the song myself.
One of the more memorable tracks off the recent albums.

It wouldn't offend me, if they played it occasionally, on the new tour.

The only similarity between the two songs (LIS and WAIS) is in the beginning.

Ditto. My thoughts exactly about this song. It sounded "right" at first. But, a decade later it just doesn't hit the mark. But, compared to the incomprensibly lame YGMR it's a bonafide classic!

It's indeed a great and very typical stones track (and album) but not live; mick can't reach the lower toneranges while he's excited on stage...
