Quotespidey9 I contacted the Padres (via live chat) regarding pre-paid parking, and was told that a link to purchase parking will be added to the page where tickets are purchased "in a week or so." Of course, I asked the same question right after tickets went on sale and was told that the link would be up "in a couple of days." Finally, the FAQ on the ticket page has th

Quotebye bye johnny Quoteweinerdog That petco park/stones logo is cool. Do the Stones do any venue specific shirts/posters? As mentioned, it was done last year. Some really great stuff. Take a look - There's also different tongues for this tour. Nice sized Indy one here - Those are cool logos. I hope they make the t-shirts & posters available online before the shows. Alt

I've never heard of the Stones doing big stage rehearsals in a stadium days before the first show. That doesn't seem like Mick's style. Has this happened on any recent stadium tour? They will do a club/theater gig in LA to tune-up before San Diego. But I would bet they'll only do a sound check in Petco Park the day of the show. No rehearsals in San Diego.

Quotemjolly77 Hey people, I'm living temporarily here in San Diego -- Ive got regular folks tix for May 24 but my whole life I have wanted to see a Stones play a pre tour Club gig, aka Toronto etc. What are the odds the boys play a small joint around San Diego and how does one find out about these things--this feels like my one shot! My best guess is the tune-up gig will be in LA. They

Glad to see they are getting around to getting you your tickets. I haven't received mine in the mail yet, maybe today! It's a bit disappointing that only San Diego & Milwaukee have sold out (face value) on this tour. It's a sign that stadium shows are over in the US for the Stones. So enjoy it this last time! There is a good chance new Lucky Dip tickets will become avai

2 things about Lucky Dip tickets. The rules of using them are pretty restrictive. It does depend on how each venue enforces those rules. Technically, only the person that buys the 2 tickets, can use them. The purchaser, with their credit card at the ticket window, and 1 guest. They then have to enter the stadium with those 2 tickets and cant give them away or resell them. Also, only 2 sho

The Stones have not used Opening Acts on recent tours, so I doubt it this time. Otherwise they would have announced it. They may do the Special Guest thing again. I think the set list will be interesting, as they are obviously asking fans what they want to hear online. Ultimately its up to Mick, and he tends to play it safe. They'll do the pick a song contest again. They will do th

Quotestickyfingers101 Yes...as long as the cardholder picks up the tix. After that, you can do whatever you want w/ them. not exactly. You have to walk in to the stadium with your tickets, you cant give them away or re-sell them. Only the person that bought them can use them, with 1 guest.

While many fans got tickets today, many more ticket brokers got them, and will now flood the secondary marketing at huge markups. Lucky Dips are listed as Sold Out for: San Diego Dallas Pittsburgh Milwaukee Raleigh Detroit Others should still have some left. I would grab them if you are on a budget, don't care where you sit and have no plans to re-sell, as you cant with those. It's great they offered these, but kind of sketchy they didn't announce they'd be coming. I wonder what surprises

The Dips are selling out quickly. so grab them while you can. It's good for real fans, as Brokers cant resell these. The purchaser has to show up to get them. Also, these are Stadium fill-in seats. It's the first indication, these stadiums are not selling as quickly as they hoped. They'll use these Lucky Dip people, to fill in any section that doesn't sell out. Yo

QuoteNaturalust QuoteGfmsoccer They still have about 75% of the stadium to sell in the General Sale Monday. With all the sold out in an hour reports and such, it seems improbably they actually have held back this number of seats. I don't claim to have a clue about how this complicated process works though and it will be interesting to see how long General Sale tickets remain available

No Security is a great sounding live album, but its the song selection that leaves it mediocre. It was the live album from the Bridges to Babylon tour of 1998. They then did an arena tour in 1999 called No Security. Many fans believe the tour performances in the 90's, like this, were the best the band ever did. the 70's were fun, and had a lot of character, but were pretty ragged

Yes, it looks like today's Public Pre-Sale, sold out in about 45 minutes. Of course it was only a few thousand tickets. They still have 75% of the stadium to sell in the General Sale. Amazing that they are paying to run ads on San Diego TV to promote ticket sales. I saw 2 commercials last night. It means AEG is worried they wont sell out this show, otherwise you don't pay $1000

interesting day. I'm fascinated that the Stones made today a Public Pre-Sale, by giving away all the access codes, rather than keeping it a private pre-sale, as they had originally planned. anyone who looked at their phone or computer today could see all the presale codes. they all worked for any venue, as I tried them out. The San Diego show presale appeared to sellout after about 45

You LA guys are in luck! The Stones will be there in a few weeks to rehearse, Per Keith, and will likely play a tune-up gig before heading down to San Diego. If the gig is in a larger venue like the Forum or large theater, they'll announce and sell tickets. If its in a club, like Echoplex last time, it'll be a day of the show announcement. But it will happen, it always does.

Remember the Zipcode Pre-Sale this morning is only a few thousand tickets in huge stadiums. It will sell out fast, but there are still 75% of the tickets to be sold in the General Sale for each stadium. In San Diego tonight the Stones were running commercials on TV promoting their ticket sales. It cost them $1000's to run those. Why would they? The Promoter, AEG is worried they wont b

This is a funny thread. Of course bands get old and aren't what they used to be. But the music is their drug and they love the rush it gives them, even at 70. Mick is a perfectionist, and has created this big production formula that makes them billionaires. They'd all still be playing clubs if it wasn't for him creating the big stadium spectacle, that most of the casual, radio

From all reports the Pandora Pre-Sale sold out really fast, which probably reflects the limited number of tickets in that pre-sale. As a reminder, Pre-Sales are only about 10% - 20% of the tickets available. They are a sampling of each category. The General Sale Monday will be the other 75% of tickets. So many more good seats and cheaper seats. The Promoter always holds out about 10% of t
