If you can afford the VIP Packages, go for it. They wont know your exact seats until they go on sale Wednesday. You could be in the last row on the field, so be warned. Also, these Pre-Sales are a gimmick, don't put all your eggs in that basket. Pre-Sales are about 10% of the seats available. A sampling of each category. They announce "Pre-Sales sold out quickly", driving sa

Quoteflacnvinyl This makes me furious. 20 tickets available in one row... http://www.stubhub.com/rolling-stones-tickets/the-rolling-stones-nashville-lp-field-6-17-2015-9282134/ I get that the venue, team, insiders etc get a swing at tickets, but this is just so incredibly greedy. To see this many tickets on sale before a single pre-sale occurs is just offensive. I pray all of these scalp

It's a nice touch for the field level fans. Not sure why you're speaking authoritatively on this topic when it's clear what you're saying isn't adding up. The last stadium tour in th

I agree the tour name is not great. I get the Sticky Fingers connection, but its not a memorable one. I'm guessing the mini-stage set they do mid-show will be Sticky Fingers songs, perhaps 4. They wont do the whole album as Stadium shows have to be a greatest hits show. They'll probably have a fan vote each show for a song also. Some tickets will be in the $60 to $70 range, but

The Stones demand 3 or 4 days off between shows now, its in their contract, and don't want to tour more than 2 months at a time. They have to accommodate 70 y/o former drug addicts who still smoke. Health & stamina is a real issue. San Diego: Yes, tickets will be on the Padres website, or from a link to that site from AXS.com, which is AEG's ticketing site. Some other shows ar

Yes, tickets will be on the Padres website, or from a link to that site from AXS.com, which is AEG's ticketing site. Some other shows are on Ticketmaster, but not this one in SD. It's a great stadium for a concert, but be careful with side-stage seats. Sometimes they screw this up and you cant see the whole band or video screens (Paul McCartney show). They will have the same min

Well a club show usually is unannounced, last minute, like on last US tour. If they announce an LA date tomorrow, its not a club show. It's a larger venue that will sell tickets ahead of time, as will happen with Petco Park in San Diego. I would guess LA will be The Forum, Hollywood Bowl or Nokia theater downtown. It will be a dress rehearsal like U2 did before their last tour, or a &quo

Well, there you go. That's the official announcement of the announcement. I expect most of the tour is set, with some gaps still to be filled in. I also think the pre-sales will start in a few days, and be staggered by show date. Obviously San Diego & LA will go on sale first.

Since I'm the "expert" on San Diego shows, and will be at Petco Park once again for the Stones, let me know if you guys have any questions. Since this is the 1st Stadium show on the tour, it'll be huge and a tough ticket. It's a good stadium for weather, sound and comfort, but the sightlines can be tricky on the sides. Some seats for Paul McCartney show, you couldn&#

This makes sense, as they often rehearse pre-tour, in LA. So a filmed show or 2, which may include Sticky Fingers in a small venue would work well. I listened to the album yesterday and the whole thing wouldn't' work in a stadium show, too many slow songs. But I expect, with the SF re-release, they'll do 3 or 4 songs from it in the Stadiums. I think the LA Forum or Hollywoo

No mention yet of an NYC show. The tour theme is visiting places they didn't visit on last US tour. I doubt they'll mention Indiana, although they should, but they've never been very political and will basically play anywhere if the money is there. Sticky Fingers? I listened to it this weekend and it would not work on a Stadium tour. Too many slow songs. Might work in The

If they are on the radio Monday its not the tour announcement. That's Tuesday. They may be promoting the Tuesday event which will be on TV, radio & online. Stones just put up new billboards that say Tuesday.

I wonder if "Insiders" are just this website, or somebody really part of AEG or the Stones? It's a tough summer to tour, with so many classic rock bands out there. It's going to spread those concert dollars thin. Not everyone will be successful. Hopefully the Stones learned on the last US tour, which did not sell out every arena, that their prices were too high. The

The "Thursday" billboards are still up in my neighborhood. Saw one last night. Maybe their marketing company forgot about them if the announcement is now Tuesday. Usually Pre-sales begin a few days after the announcement and not all shows go on sale the same day. Rehearsals will probably be in LA again since they are starting out here, and like lounging in LA for a week or so bef

I'm seeing lots of ticketing questions and confusion. Amex presale, Citicard, venues, etc. Here's what I know. Obviously at the tour announcement, all this will be answered. AEG seems to be promoting the 2015 Tour. AEG runs AXS.com ticketing. They have a partnership with Amex, and do not with Citibank. So it's likely an Amex Presale. Sometimes AEG sells concert tickets d

These new billboards are promotions for the Introducing contest they are running, not for the tour announcement, since they don't know when they are going to make that yet. Could be next week, who knows?

Its fine either way. Paul McCartney did his last stadium tour with no opening act and played almost 3 hours. Nobody minded. even his rehearsal set was awesome. My favorite Stones opening act was Sheryl Crow. She was awesome and then came back & played with the boys. They really liked her.

not really. Its just what I've read over the last few years in the music biz. Keith is a great optimist, that's why we love him! I wish long health, as he's defied the odds for years. But these guys are old, 72? Nobody has abused their body more than Keith. He's a miracle survivor, but the big long tours are a tough grind on him. Mick is a perfectionist, and if it'

LOL! nothing on here is Fact until the Stones put it in writing. but this is based on 40 years following the Stones, I know a few of the venues and people who work there. I know rock roadies who give me inside info. I read the industry mags that give you insight into how their inner circle works and how each member is thinking & feeling. So its all an educated guess like most others.

A few points that keep being brought up I'll review quickly. The Stones will not play 1 show in California then send 20 trucks across the country to do an East Coast & Midwest tour. That will never happen. They will do multiple shows on the West Coast, and that planning may have caused the Delay. Likely they will start with rehersals and a tune-up show again in LA. They really lik
