I really like the Tumbling Dice solo. Sweet smooth slow bends. Almost pedal steel sounding. Nice job Ronnie!

I vote for Shine A Light. The snippet we heard when the Jimmy Fallon show was returning from commercial, with Taylor sitting in the house band, was fantastic. Possibly the best I have heard from MT in decades.

"Lumpy Taylor or Boring Wyman" I don't get it. I go to concerts to hear the music. I don't think Jagger's running around or Keith's posing adds anything to the music that I hear. What am I missing?

Carl Sagan said that he was told in the late 1970s that the Apollo Program was about developing the rocket, not visiting the moon. Once the rockets were proven, there was no need to return. The moon was chosen to get public support for the huge cost.

This appears to be 1979. Marshall took some photos of Taylor in Los Angeles preceding Mick's solo record. The booze probably belongs to Marshall.

QuoteR QuoteFuman2 What was it that the Fox News lawyers argued? Oh yeah, the media is not required to tell the truth on network television. "In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News legal team that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States. What about the 2003 Fox News court case in Florida involving Jane Akre? What was it that the Fox News lawyers argued? Oh yeah, the media is not required to tell the truth on network television. "I think it's typical Taylor rhythm guitar. Touch stiffer than Keith, but with some slick little licks thrown in here and there. He mimes the basics of it in the Montreux promo film thing." My sentiments exactly.

Quote71Tele I think Taylor is on Turd. It's a similar two-guitar boogie thing to Hip Shake (Taylor on rhythm on that one!). I agree. Clearly Taylor on guitar at the 1:00 mark.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteFuman2 I can clearly hear Taylor on electric guitar at the 2:51 - 2:54 mark. I also think that's him playing electric guitar from 3:50 onward in Torn And Frayed (playing along with the pedal steel). You mean the intro to the "beautiful buzz-theme, where you can hear two tones sliding up and down a few times"? I thought about that as well, but I&#

QuoteDiamondDog7 EXILE ON MAIN STREET was a cool and a epic album! No doubt about that. But I'm a little bit tired of the whole Exile (and Some Girls) hype and talk. I'm more curious about GOATS HEAD SOUP and IT'S ONLY ROCK AND ROLL. Those two albums weren't the Stones' best work. In fact, some say it went downhill from there. But I want to know what happened in Jamai

Many to cite, but the first solo in Wild Horses (3:25 - 3:35) is classic Ron Wood. I really like how he finally finds the key as the solo ends. Just leaves you wanting more . . . which he delivers.

Quotekleermaker QuoteMathijs Quotekleermaker Quoteliddas This is just fantastic!!! I think that these Archive releases have laid the basis for finally settling the enldess Wood/Taylor debate: as a matter of fact the band was red hot 69 - 82!!! C What did we get from the Taylor era? After Ladies & Gentlemen in a very bad sound quality? Only an inferior Brussels show, with Taylor way to

As with any music, the more you listen the more it will sink in. Gram wrote some very nice songs, but it took me a while to appreciate them. Heroin might have been a common point with Keith, but I would say Gram's knowledge of country music was the main bond between the two. Although I am a fan of Gram's music these days, I agree, his status is overrated.

QuoteFuman2 My choice for the next release would have to be the 1973 Nicaragua Benefit. I wouldn't mind seeing a complete 1971 Marquee show in fabulous quality too. Not sure what else they played there but I have noticed an acoustic guitar on stage near the drums. Could it just be a stage prop? In the Ethan Russell book, one photo shows the band at Altamont in a tent and Keith is tuni
