I never thought he was funny, just a mean son of bitch. I don't care if he's gone, no loss to me. I am a little worried that we seem to be getting very close to censorship here.

Merry Christmas to all of you on the board. I don't post often but read it everyday fathfully, particularly at work. Today is my wedding aniversery also, one year and counting. We played Miss You at the wedding, another of my favorites. Honky Tonk Women probably would not have been appropriate for a wedding. So happy holidays to all of you. Chris

I saw Dylan Saturday nite, sorry I didn't get the set list, bt he did Like a Rolling Stone and All Along the Watchtower. His voice is pretty well shot, but his band is great. The tickets were $47.00 but the beer was $7.00/bottle. Great little baseball stadium. If you et a chance to see him, its a nice concert, three openers, you get your monies worth. Next concert, Dr. John in November.

Thanks for the tips...Saw the Stones in DC at the beginning of the tour, wish they were coming back for one more time, but at least I got to see them again. Going to see Dylan on Saturday and Dr. John in November, that will finally blow all my concert money for the year. Also if you like the blues check out Terry Garland, I saw him in Maryland one nite for $12, great blues guy. Thanks again C

130. OT-Athens
I'm traveling to Athens in a few weeks and would appreciate any suggestions for good place to eat. I really dislike going to the tourist places, I'd rather experience real places that cater to local people. I'll also be visiting Santorini and Crete. Thanks Chris You know, speaking as an American, if I could manage it somehow I'd leave America and live in Europe. I think

A radio concert of the Corrs at Wembley, downloaded from Dime. I haven't seen the Corrs since they toured with the Stones in 99. Love that band wish they'd come back to the states.

I'm listening to Dylan's concert in Scotland I got from Dime. I also am listening to Terry Garland, an American Blues singer from Richmond, VA. I saw Terry live a few weeks ago, small audiance, he came around and spoke to everyone during the break. IF you are a blues fan, I'd strongly recommend Terry. You can get his Cd's on Amazon and maybe on Ebay. Tomorrow on the one hour dr

I've met Stones Doug and he is a real decent guy. I think all this stuff about boycotts is just crazy. I check both boards and comment on both. I like talking to people all over the world. I set up a nice trade with someone in France during their last tour and it worked out fine.

I think that they are setting us up for this to be the last " world tour" Do you remember Micks interview where he said that after 20 concerts he gets bored and he would be happy playing only a small number of shows. I think they may be going in that direction. Charlie isn't quiting the band, he doesen't want to do anymore round the world year tours. I think Mick probably fee

Keith looked like he was in heaven and Mick looked like he was having fun also. Ronnie's solos were right on targe and did anyone see Charlie's big grin at the end when they were taking their final bows. Just speculation, but Mick's fashion conscience girlfriend my be having a bigger influence than we know. They seem to be dressed better, even Keith looks like he is dressing a b

He played well with Keith also, Keith acknowledged him also which was a nice gesture.Just pause for a minute and think that he's sober and playing in front of all these people without the crutch of booze and drugs. Got to give him some credit and admire his courage. I think he can still play and play well.

I've seen them 4 times now, and this show was just a good if not better than the others. This time its more the 4 of them on many songs and the back up people are not as present as before which I like. Back of my Hand is still my favorite song on this tour and seeing them in their orginal blues mood is worth the price of the ticket.

The song is rather romatic but that one line ruins the whole mood. I was surprised he left it like that and didn't change it. Nice song except for that line.

Thanks to John R, his reviews are right on the money. I have Warm & Tender' ('93) & 'Long Ago & Far Away, the Watts/Keltner Project and Watts at Ronnie Scotts, I enjoy them all.

"Back of my Hand"--holy shit what a song, I love the blues and they really showed their stuff, it doesn't get any better than this. My highlight of the night at MCI/DC.

Only the hard core fans want to hear new things, most of the crowd wants JJF and Sympathy. They play for the crowd and the crowd is happy. I'm happy they are playing a few new songs. I also think they sound much bettter in person than on a studio CD. They are the ultimate bar blues band bar none. I'm not disapppinted that this will be the 5th time I hear JJF, its always a great song.

I agree, I listened to it this morning driving in to work then this evening coming home, its wonderful. Listen to the lyrics, which I enjoyed and Back of my Hand is one of the best blues tunes in years, the album version is better than the live one too, Micks harmonica is great. This album stands on its own as a real gem.

I grew up in Boston. For those of you from Europe, Fenway Park, the Green Monster(wall) and the Red Sox are scared in Boston. We follow the Soxs the way you guys follow soccer and we are just as crazy about our teams.I've since moved from Boston and live near Baltimore now, but I still follow the Sox. The Stones in Fenway was a Big @#$%& Deal, belive me. I downloaded the concert from Bit Tor

I paid $160 for pretty good seats at MCI in DC this year. I'm on the first level, not the floor. I paid $175 to see the Eagles and about $125 for Fleetwood Mac. I won't consider ticket brokers. I paid $50 to see Dylan a few years ago and $60 for Tom Petty. Most acts are up in the $100's and they get sold out all the time. There is no answer to this problem either, the ticket broker
