I think this all contrived to keep the Rolling Stone image alive. They are the best at spinning the media with controversey. Last year it was Ronnie and his alcholism and his marriage going down the tubes. He seems to have made a remarkable recovery and it looks like his artwork is doing well and he is looking just fine. He has a hot new girlfriend. This year is the Keith Richards book year a

No depressions, it was in the high 80's each day, a bit windy. Each day the concerts would begin about noon on three different stages and go until after midnight. You got all the blues music you could ask for. I discovered some blues artists that I had not heard before. Check out Janiva Magness.

Just got back from the Bluse Cruse in the Caribbean. The following blues artist performed on the cruise: Taj Mahal-my first time seeing him in person, I saw him 3-times and each was outstanding. What an awsome performer. Deanna Bogart--excellant piano player and perfomer Mitch Woods--nice piano player,he played some killer boogie-woogie Rick Estrin-harp player, really good, this is a

The Lakers are the Beatles and the Celtics are the Stones. Both are great, but give the edge to the Celtics (Stones).

I thought if you were married to an American, you can automatically become a US citizen if you want to do it. I never heard that there is any restrictions on the amount of time that he can stay in the US if he's not a citzen, but married to an American. Patti I assume is an American citizen.

I just got tickets for Clapton & Winwood in DC. Top price for tickets were $158, and then $88. I got some good seats in sectioin 109 for $88. IF you paid me $500 I still wouldn't go see Michael Jackson. His nose might fall off in the middle of the concert and I don't need to see him grab his balls either. I can't imagine one month of MJ in England at those prices. I do

Outstanding--I really liked the Buddy Guy piece, it really shows that they are still a great blues band. Chistina was cool, she held her own against Mick and was just sexy enough. I really enjoued, You Got the Silver, wonderful guitar playing from Ronnie. A masterpiece.

My wife is going to graduate school so she has to write a paper this weekend.I have to get out of the house. I will do all the food shopping, drop the clothes at the dry cleaner, do the banking. I will also take in a movie. I'm thinking about 10,000 BC which appears to be pretty stupid, but I need a pretty stupid movie right now, my job has been realtively stressful lately. What are you

Since things are a bit quiet I thought we could share some of undiscovered gems. My Blues artist gem is Terry Garland. I've seen him live once, really wonderful. You can fins his cd's on e-bay or amazon and he has a yahoo group and web site that lists his shows. He usually plays in the Richamond area and travels to Pennsylvania to play sometimes. I highly recommend him. Who are you

I hope we don't get any hip-hop stars at 1/2 time, I hate hip hop and rap. I was born in Boston, so I have to favor the Patriots. Something must be in the water there this year, the Red Sox, Patriots and the Celtics are 30-6. It would be real nice if they went 3 for 3 and got won all three championships. Aerosmith is from Boston and they would be pretty good 1/2 time entertainment, not the Stones, but Ok. I hope we don't get any hip-hop stars at 1/2 time, I

This is my all time favorite Rolling Stone song. I loved it the first time I heard it and it only gets better with time. I've seen it twice live and was thrilled. My interpretation of the song, is that its about despair and the worst things about the world, but its all made right somehow by love. Chris
