Will New England go undefeated and win it all? I think so.

Let's hope for good game and halftime show.

The Patriots DYNASTY are DESTINY'S team.
Sunn warm weather will bring the Patriots pass attack back in full force and the Giants will get CrUsHeD 48-10.

The perfect season continues, only one game to go, and there's NO WAY the PAtriots players will allow themselves to lose, just no way.
Not until next pre-season.

The real question here is: Can the Patriots go undefeated for two seasons in a row? Now that would be very difficult.

It wouldn't shock me to see the Giants win this game. The Patriots have looked beatable the second half of the year. No one's done it yet. But the Giants came close in the last game of the season. Plus does Boston have to win everything?

I agree totally. For the record I am not a Patriots fan at all. If they win this I think that everyone will be sick of Boston sports, except the locals.

I think most non-Bostonians have been sick of Boston sports for many years...

Boston has always been the best sports town and lately is proving it once again.

Even the Bruins are playing well. winking smiley

The NY Yankees had there turn, so did the Lakers, now it's Boston's turn.

Who's next, Milwaukee?

Still very sad about the Chargers lose. For once in my life I'll cheer for the Giants.

As an Eagles fan, I can't bring myself to root for the Giants. I'm actually rooting for "American Girl" and "Running Down a Dream" at halftime.

I was born in Boston, so I have to favor the Patriots. Something must be in the water there this year, the Red Sox, Patriots and the Celtics are 30-6. It would be real nice if they went 3 for 3 and got won all three championships.

Aerosmith is from Boston and they would be pretty good 1/2 time entertainment, not the Stones, but Ok.

I hope we don't get any hip-hop stars at 1/2 time, I hate hip hop and rap.

Go Pats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It will be loads of fun watching Eli Manning running for his life with Rodney Harrison chasing after him.....
Tom Brady and the Pats are the best......the best.

Who could ever imagine my 2 favorite teams in the Super Bowl??I'm a Giants fan since the 70's with LT, and it's been tough being a Giants fan over the years. In recent years I started to love the Pat's so it's hard for me but in my heart of hearts I truly want BIG BLUE to win!! Eli has shown real balls lately and composure, lots of class and his defensive line may be unstoppable! The Pat's have played like a DREAM TEAM should! I like Tom Brady, and again, he's a very classy man. ( except in regards to the women he screws and leaves behind in the dust, but hey, that's off the field). I want my Giants to show all of those nay-sayers that they have the right stuff to win the big game. I predict the Giants win 34-21.

Debra,

I believe this is their 4th Super Bowl appearance. The Giants have won 2 of their last 3 Super Bowls (including one heartbreaker over the Bills) so I wouldn't find it too tough to be a Giants fan with 2 Super Bowl rings.

Try being a fan of a team that has lost 4 straight or in some cases never won. That's tough.

Yes they do! And they will win this one. Certainly gonna be awhile b4 our Bay Area teams win anything. Though the Warriors have been a bright spot in an otherwise dreadful SF sports scene.

If Manning can pull this off it may be a bigger upset than the Jets beating the Colts in Superbowl three.

I feel it is my obligation to point at least some sort of Stones connection.(so people don't get upset about us talking about foottie-ball again). The Stones played the first ever concert in this stadium where the Super Bowl will be played. Nov.8,2006. I was there. Good show, nice stadium.

The Giants only won the SuperBowl twice, and not since 1990! That was a long time ago! We have been in 4 championship games and we won all 4!! We beat Denver and Buffalo and lost once to the Ravens. So, the point is, I'm ready to win AGAIN!

Before the playoffs started I predicted on an IORR football playoff thread that it would be the Giants and Pats in the Super Bowl in a rematch of their great game a few weeks back- I'm sticking with the Giants.

My father has had Giants season tickets since the late 1950's.
We don't go much anymore, since most of us don't live anywhere near NJ these days, but we've still got the seats.

Anyway, we got a letter from the Giants today stating that we were one of the season ticket holders that could buy tickets to the Super Bowl.

Each "lottery winner" can only buy two tickets, no matter how many season ticket seats you have. You have to go to the ticket window at the Meadowlands (Giants Stadium) Friday or Saturday only to buy the tickets.

Cost?
$700 per ticket.

And I thought Stones tickets had gotten expensive...
