The Stones is not about who is better on his instrument. Hell, Keith nowadays doesn't even come close to Keith in (let's say) 1972. If they were to do another tour I'd love to see Bill join up with the rest of the lads. It is a bit more difficult with Mick Taylor because he has been replaced by Roonnie. Bill has not been replaced... However I doubt we will ever see Bill on tour wi

Quoteduke richardson yeah I don't reckon the two have ever come to fistfighting, like some of these brothers in other bands... But Mick managed to get his big mouth slapped by Charlie.

Quotewith sssoul a perfect shining piece of forever (the original spelling of the title really is Gimmie - the change to the US-style spelling was instigated by the film) Yeah, I even got Gimmie Shelter tattooed on my back. The tattoo-artist asked whether I was sure about the spelling...

I'm not looking forward to another tour because the ticket-prices would be sky-high and the whole event would be run by businessmen. I'm more than happy with my copy of Bruessel's Affair - the era when it was The Rolling Stones on stage and not a bloody bigband. If they just could go on tour as a rock band without Aguileras and stupid rappers and Chuck Leavell, then I'd look f

I am not going to go because they wouldn't come to Estonia anymore (they promised to, though) and I can't afford travelling abroad and attending a RS concert.

I'd say he's fine. Buddy Holly's songs are not the most complicated, he did his fills just fine. And grey hair? So what?! And he was talking as he always has. I can't see a problem, really.

About 2-3 pints of beer a day but sometimes more, don't really drink anything else... A couple of glasses of good whiskey once a month maybe.

It's cool that he has mentioned some things and discussed matters which he had not talked before (at least I have not seen it). Great article, thanks for posting the link!

A few... "Nobody's got the right to judge over what I am putting into my body, apart from myself." "....the man seems to like singing songs about dead blondes. (Keith on Elton John)" "Dog shit in the Doorway" Keith on Mick's solo album "Goddess in the Doorway"

Most of you have probably seen this video... I have two questions 1:57 before the end - Is it Keith? (at first I thought it might be George Harrison) 1:21 before the end - Are these Mick's feet?

As someone already put it: The Beatles were the Gods, The Rolling Stones were very-very famous. So, the Beatles would probably have headlined the tour. Performing live... Well, I am pretty sure who would have been better on stage, The Stones of course.
