Well, there isn't anything strikingly new in this story, is there? I would still like to read the whole book.

Yeah, I have to agree with Lasse Carlsson, this show was great (although there were 36000 people, not 45000) and completely blew me away. Too bad that they never came back, they promised but that's the showbusiness. I still hope it wasn't the first and the last time I saw them.

They definitely played YCAGWYW, so far it's the only Stones concert that I have attended, I was in the front row and remember it clearly.

In Tallinn (Estonia) in 1998 they also did two encores - Brown Sugar and You Can't Always Get What You Want.

No way, The Stones is a band of two guitars, as Brian was clearly unable to play (and also he was not wanted in the USA), it was the right solution because the band had to tour and they could not have toured with Brian. I'm pretty sure that The Rolling Stones' story would be different if they hadn't toured in 1969, that was the "make it or break it" time.

I've never liked Fool To Cry, Gomper and Mother's Little Helper. Time Waits For No One is one of my favourite Stones songs.

Well, I've read Stephen Davis' Old Gods Almost Dead, According To The Rolling Stones... and now most recently Cristopher Sandford's Keith Richards - Satisfaction. Also I have some photo books of The Stones. Now, this last one (Satisfaction)... I had quite mixed emotions, every once in a while it seemed as if it had a production of The Sun or something similar. What do you think ab

Firstly, Jim Morrison was a great stage persona but not a very good singer, as a matter of fact, later on (circa 1969-1970) his singing got even worse. Now about great singers in rock history... well, Freddie Mercury, Mick Jagger, Bon Scott, Otis Redding, Ian Gillan and Bono come to my mind. Anyway, what makes a singer a good singer? Doesn't sing out of tune? Well...

In any order... John Bonham Ginger Baker Mitch Mitchell Dave Grohl Keith Moon Carl Palmer Carmine Appice Charlie Watts Roger Taylor (Queen, not Duran Duran) Chad Smith Ian Paice Kenney Jones I don't know much about Neil Peart's drumming but as almost everyone seems to name him, he might be a good drummer.

I admit that after listening to the Soundgarden version of Stray Cat Blues, I would like to name it as one of the best Stones covers I've ever heard.

Most of the right-handed guitar players I could come up with are playing on the right side (as viewed from the audience) - Keith, Brian May, Jimmy Page, Pete Townshend, Kirk Hammett, Jeff Beck... Jimi Hendrix was left handed and mainly (on videos) I have seen him also standing on the left side.
