Agreed - IORR was a thousand times better a la Love You Live version.
Satisfaction - terrible vocals these days but a great song.
HTW, SFD, TD - let's dump them please.

Bring on: Some real oldies everyone loves like Route 66, Heart of Stone, Out of Time, All Over Now. What about trying We Love You - would be different and fresh, no?

They pulled it off with 2000 Years and a Rainbow, so why not We Love You? (the backing up vocals are there it should be possible.

IORR definitely has been pretty close to constant in recent years. Yeah,they dropped it for the 1978 shows and the 1981 / 1982 tour but,it has been rarely dropped @ isolated shows ever since '82.

I have to say this: if Jagger would find the energy to do those cuts justice I would never grow tired. Once in a while I will hear a Voodoo-tour version maybe, or '99 tour version of Jumping Jack Flash - and I am once again floored at the power of this song. So as long as "Miss You" isn't delivered as a farce, or IORR's lyrics actually say something, and not some sl;urred mess - I can listen to them again and again.

Is it possible that they continue to fill their shows with endless warhorses because they have been too lazy to practice and perfect lesser or seldom played songs?

Rehashing warhorses is like reciting "twinkle twinkle little star", you never forget it and its reliable.
