OK, here's what really happened. The feds come in and bust Tony with the whole family. The next thing we see is Tony, Carm, AJ, and Meadow sitting opposite each other in a jail cell talking about nothing as the camera pulls away. Our last glimpse of Tony shows him doing standup in prison as the credits roll.

Man I'm glad I was there then and I'm still here now. There were some other really good British blues cover bands back (The Animals, Georgie Fame...) then but no one blew me away on first listen like the Stones. Ww had pretty cheezy record players back then (yes, not even stereos!) so we couldn't even hear how good it really was until the remasters came out years later. You think

'75 was the first US tour after MT and I remember noticing the holes in the music where the MT solos used to be. Ronnie didn't know the songs yet and the weave had not really developed either so the music sounded thin. There were still some great moments in the 2 shows I saw at MSG - especially Sympathy. This featured 100 steel drummers from Brooklyn as well as guest shots from Carlos S

Forest Hills Tennis Stadium, Queens NY July 1966. Yes I do know more than most of the newbies that post here but I like sharing memories. She's got a mind of her own and she uses it well.

Giants Stadium last Sept 27! We were toward the back of the 100's section - even with the B stage- a few rows up and the sound was so clean it was like listening through headphones. Check it out on Dime! They did a pretty creative set that night too.

14 in 1964. The first thing I remember was seeing them on the Clay Cole Show in NY lip synching Tell Me. I was hooked right away! They used to appear on that show a lot.

I have this on an old reel to reel that I taped live off WNEW FM in NY and I thought about posting it. Thanks for beating me to it - great performance! There were a few other great guest shots in this show as well.

Overrated? That eliminates all of ABB since it hasn't been around that long. Emotional Rescue, hands down! Nothing on Exile can be overrated - it is the gold standard for rock n roll. Most of VL is overrated. Lyrics count! Some more (IMHO): Saint Of Me Rock And A Hard Place A Little T & A The '78 tour She's So Cold Shattered Angie IORR Let's not confuse

I'll take it! Bill is a great American unlike the present scumbag. This is about a Stones show, isn't it? I hope this isn't Vin Scelsa. Ths disillusionment would leave me shattered.

I agree with the original post! Maybe I'm a little spoiled from seeing all the NY area shows. They always seem to turn it up a couple of notches for us. THANKS STONES! Don't forget MSG in Dec or Jan!

In the New York area we have plenty of Stones fans but no real rock radio to support the Stones like in the old days. You'd think they only released 5 songs in the last 40 years.

Add MSG 1 -1/18/06 HBO special from Licks tour. (Most of this is on Live Licks) AC 1989 - Does someone have this without the amplifier hum? Hampton Roads - you gotta be shittin' me!!! Garden State '78 - Is this the Capital Theater in Passaic? That has the last Far Away Eyes I know until Giant's Stadium last Wed. Good SB For pure historical value and a great recording to boot

AAh the old rainforest benefit at MSG. MT was a nice treat in that show at a time when Gerry was fading. I think the Dead were the greatest American rock n roll band in the world for a long time but he's gone and nothin's gonna bring him back.

We had seriously obstructed seats in Sec 115 last night and couldn' see much of the stage or video screen. The ushers moved us and several others across the field to sec 127 which was much better. Their reaction was "why would they sell anybody these seats anyway".
