If you don't like the band the way it is now don't go see them anymore! I thought the backups were pretty minimal last night anyway. If any of you whiners get stuck with tickets for MSG don't worry - just send them to me. I know lots of real Stones fans that would love to have them.

I think the intro video crashed and never got to their cue. There was a whole piece missing - nice when that's the worst screw up in a whole Stones show! You guys that are stuck in '78 and '81... did you see them on the same planet that I did? You can't compare Mick's bellowing or Ronnie's attempted playing from thos show to what I've seen recently. What about

I think they just jammed longer on the ones that they did. Last night was a very Keith driven show and they kept going and going on a lot of the endings.TD, Sympathy, JJF, Satisfaction, BS were all extended and sweet! And to the girl who passed me the J - well you know what kind of eyes she got!

I have owned and worn out copies of all of the first 20 or so. Now I listen mostly to boots and live stuff since they are the world's greatest live band. It's too bad some of you weren't around for the original trip. I used to wait outside the rrecord store when there was a ner release coming. I got the 1st vinyl copy of Exile out of the box at the Disc at Storrs, Ct and I'm

JJF has been used a lot on this tour. It always takes me back to MSG 1969. NFA was my favorite opener ever with Mick seeming to appear out of thin air in the middle of the stage. SFM on the Licks tour was good but I like it as a closer. PIB? This would have been better If I didn't know about it in advance. Around And Around would be cool! I'll see what I think Wednesday.

The first moment when the lights go down... Any rare song... Keith alone in a spotlight hitting the opening of YCAGWYW... The final bows when I lose it and start to weep with joy.

Worst ever - Philly 1978. The band was going throught the motions, the Vet was a filthy dump, and the weather sucked. Close 2nd - Hampton Rosad Va. 1981. I saw this one on TV and got the boot. Mick was bellowing, not singing, Ernie Watts was annoying at best, and I'll never forget RW hanging from a cherry picker and mugging when he was supposed to be playing his solo during YCAGWYW. You gu

I think Lee Michaels was one of the opening acts at MSG in Nov, 1969. I also remember Ike & Tina Turner and B.B. King from that show. I think I popped a button on me trowsers!

I'd love to hear Lisa do a rock album on her own but her solo work that I'm aware of is pretty poppy. She even has a song called "Some Girls" but sorry to say it's not that "Some Girls". Janis kills me after all these years!

Overall really good! I'd love to see a whole arena sho with this setup. A big razz to Westwood One for airing interviews during the Stones' set. I was on the road at the time and I had to wait until I got home to see it. Nobody's mentioned this but I could hear Street Fightin' Man in the background during the interviews so they did not air the whole performance on TV. I

What show did they see? Last night was the best I've seen on this tour, maybe ever! From where we sat the place was rocking and the band was on fire. I really liked that new lead guitarist that replaced RW... Oh, that was RW! Welcome back Ronnie B. Goode. This was the best setlist in a long time. All you whiners should shut up and go find another band.

During SFTD in Atlantic City '89 Lisa and Cindy Mizelle surrounded Bill and started teasing him while he played. They then stuck a mike in front of him and got him to do a couple of woo woos.

Check out 25 X 5. It's a great history of the Stones' first 25 years up to the Steel Wheels tour with some great performance clips.

Aah - just as I remember it! It chuggs along like a Creedence song with lots of guitar weaving and it even has the bass slide that was missing in the B2B version. Charlie's even swinging in it. I was lucky to be there that night and it was a highlight of that show.

I agree - that was the worst Stones show in my long career. JFK Stadium was a dump and the band phoned it in that day. Those of you who bitch about how the band sounds now should've been there.

Check out "Songs Of The Rolling Stones - All Blues'd Up!" on Compendia. It is a collection of Stones covers done by blues greats. Some highlights are a very gospelly YCAGWYW by Luther Allison, Tumblin Dice by Johnny Copeland with his daughter Shemekia, a blused out Satisfaction by Junior Wells, It's All Over Now by Bobby Womack (a cover of a Stones cover of his own song), and
