Let It Bleed seems to be the album of choice for the Stones on this leg of the tour. At Giant's Stadium they played a good chunk of the album (Monkey Man, Live With Me, Midnight Rambler, You Got The Silver). And, at various times, they've played almost all the rest of the songs (YCAGWYW, Gimmie Shelter and now Let It Bleed.)
When you add in the fact that they play the non-country version of Honky Tonk every night, that's the whole album.
I think it's great, but I wonder why such a big focus on LIB.
1/2 of Some Girls has been played this tour; I think more than 1/2 of Sticky' omly one from Beggars Banquet (SFTD); less than 1/4 of Exile; less than 1/2 of ABB; the rest of the albums have 1, maybe 2 represented.
Clearly, LIB is the most represented.
PS Those numbers are off the top of my head; plenty of statisticians here who'll do better. :-)

GS was played in Japan on 3/24 (I think that's the only time, though...)

It would be cool if they rotated songs like Gimme Shelter and Street Fighting Man with some of the warhorses. As far as I'm concerned, JJF and Satisfaction are the only songs I want to hear every night, mix the others up. There's plenty of classics to go round.
Told ya others would do better! I guess I overlooked GS because its been underplayed compared to previous tours. Amazing that Love in Vain is the only song not played off LIB (again, I don't think HTW really counts).
Though my favorite albums are Exile and Sticky, I'd prefer to see more Some Girls. It has many hard, fast tunes that are suited for a live performance:
When the Whip...
Respectable (my favorite 80's rocker)
Some Girls (not likely to be played)
Lies (not likely to be played)
Shattered (though this one already had a good run on the ABB tour)
