How do I get the music from 4 Flicks onto CD?

Please help a computer novice. Any advice about mp3's, wav's, bit torrent, or Ipod's would be welcome to. I'm boldly moving into the 1990's!

Hey Elmo. All I did was hook up my dvd player to my stereo receiver and push record on my stereo cd burner. It's as easy as recording an album to tape. You know like we did in the 70's.

Already have that masterpiece!?! Just wanted an clean audio version of the rarely played stuff (Stray Cat, etc.).

Actually a guy with the nickname lickskeith had posted you got me rocking from four flicks and the sound amazing and the level of the sound was very high.Maybe he can suggest us the program he used.
