Agree that Tampa soundboard sounds great - Bruce is really singing well - hope his vocal chords remain strong for the tour!

Mel is playing with this very tight group of gents, most of whom were members or recorded with Dire Straits. It was a wonderful show, highly recommended - paying homage to this great band in a humble, but energetic way. Does anyone know what othwr songs Mel played sax on for the Stones besides Miss You?

Thank you for the nice comment. I wish I could have gone to more during this Europe run. I sprung for long stretch in London as my own celebration of my 60th birthday (last month) for the SIXTY tour.. Seems like Keith and R

2021, Detroit : Ain't too Proud to Beg - Mick was on fire and the band nailed it. Also, Gimme Shelter with Sasha - particularly moving... Many more throughout the years dating back to Philly `78.. but, if Detroit was my last show with the Stones, those will be my lasting memories..

Hi Irix and ironbelly, Thanks so much for the info! It appears that what I received is not bootlegged, but it's a disappointment that the Stones have outsourced the production of this (and other?) release in such an inferior way. Definitely a blow to the brand. I find that the sound quality of this release is FAR SUPERIOR playing it off Apple Music into my car speakers, so these discs will

Looking for feedback from anyone who ordered the new Tatoo You release with bonus cd, as I think mine is bootlegged: - had sticker on outside with "Made in Czech Republic" - colors on case and pamphlet seem a little faded - CD read out in car says Track 1, 2 etc instead of song name (it's old CD player, but still not expected) - sound quality a little hard to judge, but n

Quotebitusa2012 I must say, I’ve always loved Neil Young, but…but… but I have to admit, his voice as he’s got older, has lost a fair bit of timbre and now just sounds…whiny. Agreed - sorry if I offend any Neil junkies, but the songs on the Barn seem like afterthought, especially the lyrics. I was at two of his solo shows at Carnegie Hall a few years back, though, and those were pure gold.

In so glad they played it in Detroit rather than LSTNT, because it does rock - Love Ronnies slide and Keith's solo is heavy - even Chuck adds some fire to it. I say keep it in on occasion.

Made me want to grab a drink at first (sorry Ronnie) but in the end it brought a smile to my face, It's a well done little tid-bit with some tasty guitar.

QuoteDan QuoteMisterDDDD Really loved Sasha on Gimme Shelter. To be honest this is what keeps bringing me back over and over. I hope she fronts her own band! Amen to that! Sasha blew me away in Detroit. GIMME SHELTER has become a masterpiece live. Would like to see her perform solo, too.

Quoterattler2004 QuoteUGot2Rollme Yes, Jagger is incredible, but there was a lot of love for Keith last night at Ford Field. He spent some time on the catwalk after he was introduced, and just soaked it all in to thunderous applause. An emotional moment followed (after Connection) by a forceful, extended version of Before They Make Me Run. Yes, the tail lights are fading but there are still momen

Beautiful read. I liked hearing about Charlie keeping up with the music trends and appreciating them in his own way. It`s also comforting to know that he`s just "slipped away into the next room."

Charlie was everybody's darling and the backbeat to most of the greatest moments of our lives. So sad yet so grateful for everything he and his mates gave us, for it brought so much fun, joy, and yes, occasional debauchery. But Charlie was a true gentleman and my heart goes out to his wife Shirley, his large family and of course Mick, Keith, Ronnie and the rest of the band. May we always rem

This is fantastic news and totally unexpected! Always wanted to go to Detroit, just scored tix at not such a bad price and Marriot within walking distance. Time to get the Ya Ya's out one more time!(and hope they open the Motown museum in the meantime - still closed according to website)

Just got back from MSG and it was a great show! Band played for 3.5 hours, Chuck sang "Blue Sky", they were very tight and crowd was great. If this is the last show that I see for awhile, the juice from tonight wil keep me going until the next one!

Quoteblack n blue I don’t think much of him as a drummer anyways. Neither does Steven Tyler, who started as a drummer and has natural rhythm. I saw them play with their drum tech last summer in Atlantic City. If Kramer can no longer play as good as that guy, it's definitely a sad ending. Aerosmith were quite good, but show was only about an hour and 40 mins..

Of the two I've been to, Philly over MetLife 1, but they are very consistently playing at a high level so it more or less comes down to song selection and Philly had more rockers!

Just back from show. Did anyone notice Keith was out front on catwalk at beginning of SFM and Mick clearly said "get the @#$%& out of my way!" (half smiling). Not a fan of LSTNT and my vote was for Respectable, so was not as rocking as Philly show I also attended. Though I must say Sweet Virginia was good fun and Mick was on fire for the post-Keith set (before that, I thought things fel
