For some reason there was no outlet to see those syndicated cartoons in the 1960s in my childhood home of Indianapolis. After finally seeing and hearing these I am very glad to have not seen them at the time. I lived and breathed Marvel Comics as a kid, and these cartoons are a joke. There was a series called The Mighty Hercules that had crap animation that hardly moved. This is very reminiscent. I would have considered this a ripoff.
I did send away for the MMMS floppy record when I was a kid. I had to beg my dad to put it on the 'good' stereo.

Where's the Spiderman theme? Anyway, I particularly remember that and the Captain America song. It's interesting to me how early animation (Fleisher Bros, Disney, Warner Bros.) is genrally so artful and then how terrible and cheesy it became in the 50s, 60s, 70s. Indeed the comic books of that era are far superior.
