It's a jam. So it is okay.
I still think the best Stones covers are played by The Black Crows.

Anytime a major band does a Stones cover is a plus. Maybe some of their fans who have never listened to The Stones (gasp) will seek out the original and become fans. It keeps The Stones relevant to a younger generation.

Good point Scotty, no telling what can lead to what else in this world.

Isn't Tom Scholz the only surviving member?
Can you really replace lead singer Brad Delp and still call it Boston?
Maybe South Boston, or East Boston, but the band Boston? The Tom Scholz Project would be more apt--anything else would be less than a feeling.
And to think some around here poke fun at Daltrey and Townshend for still calling it The Who.
It's like Greg Allman still calling it The Allman Brothers when he's the only brother left.
It may be technically a band, but calling it the same thing when it's had an 80% makeover does get a little misleading.
It's the Tom Scholz band, the band he would have assembled for a solo outing. But it isn't Boston, it can never be that band again.
I think it's best that we just hitch a ride and don't look back....
