Thanks for the info johnnyguitar!
I got it from a Belgian stones collector for a very good price! He ask me the same price that he paid in the early seventies.

Very rare test slick of Mick jagger's first solo album 'She's the boss'
Different lettering and the pic is bigger. On the inside is some album- and release information.
The front is signed by Mick but unfortunately, it has really rained the day that he signed the slick and the autograph is very smudged. Still a very rare item!
Thanks to Paul!

Another rarity, German 16mm movie of the European 1976 tour, about 20 min long. Interviews with all the bandmembers and performances of the concert in Kiel (Germany).

Steffiestones have you made a digital copy of this film yet?

Hello Steffiestones, I was looking at the 16mm photos you showed in this thread before you received it in the mail. Those photos were made by the seller before you handled the item and decided you didn't want it anymore. But when I look at your Ebay listing for this item, you use the same photos right now... Did you know this is a bad idea? Buyers will think those photos were taken by you and show CURRENT CONDITION. Film stock is very fragile, and the quality might have deteriorated since the seller took those photos ages ago. For example, the film might have been damaged in the mail, or when you handled it. Or it could have been kept at an inappropriate temperature (16mm film needs cold temperature or it will deteriorate). Have you been keeping the film cold? What temperature have you been storing it at? My advice is to keep it in your refrigerator. That is what all movie collectors do. I hope this advice helps you avoid negative Ebay feedback my friend. Many buyers would be angry if they knew old photos were used by you. They would think you are deceptive for doing this. It is same as using old photos for a car you are selling! Good luck Steffiestones, I hope you find a buyer.

Another wall in my office.....

(sorry for the small image, last time I posted images of some unique items someone famous used it in their book without credit, let alone permission).

Something close to that sorta happened to me as well though I've never seen the book. My friend's father took these photos at the LA 1969 show. He's pictured in the first photo. Someone mentioned to me that one of the photos made it into a Bill Wyman book. Is that right? And if so does anybody have the book? If so I'd love to see a scan of the page and also how the book gives credit for the photo.

I know one of the photos made it on a Boot CD.

One of the stamps that was used for the Rolling Stones Bootleg 'beautiful Delilah'.
This is not the original first stamp but the stamp of the later releases.
There are actually many different releases of the "Beautiful Delilah" bootleg. There are up to sixteen different releases to be found on Hoffmann schwarzbuch alone.
I am looking for the release with this kind of stamp. If anyone here can help me, drop me a mail. Thanks!

Well, here it is - an unused ticket for Sunday night at the O2, courtesy of UPS's slow delivery from Italy. Now all I need is the time machine...

Nice! So who ate the cost, the original seller who didn't send it in time or Seatwave (or was it ViaGoGo) ?

Re: Add Photos of Your Rarities

Seatwave provided a very satisfactory replacement - they may be expensive but that's good customer service. I don't know what happened, but I would say the seller shouldn't have got paid, because I bought the ticket very early on Tuesday morning but it wasn't sent from Italy until Thursday, too late to arrive on Friday and with no premium paid to UPS to deliver on Saturday. Unless it was Seatwave who didn't let the seller know in good time.

Edit: looks like the seller ate the cost, judging by Seatwave's Terms & Conditions:

4.9. Dispatching Tickets You agree to send the ticket as soon as possible after confirmation of the order or the receipt of the ticket using the delivery method we specify (an A4 envelope and usually UPS or courier). If you do not ship the ticket using a mailing label provided by Seatwave, you agree to communicate the shipping tracking number to us in a form we may stipulate from time to time. You will not be paid if you fail to provide a shipping tracking number. If UPS is able to ship the ticket from you to the Buyers' address and you do not use UPS to ship the ticket, you assume all liability for the successful delivery of the ticket. Tickets must be posted out to the Buyers (or to Seatwave as indicated at the time of sale). Sellers are not permitted to hand-over or hand deliver tickets to Buyers. If a Buyer has not received from the Seller the tickets in good time before the start of the event or at such earlier time as the Seller is notified by Seatwave via email or telephone Seatwave will cancel the sale and find alternative tickets for the Buyer. Please see clause 9 (Financial Consequences) for charges imposed for failure to deliver a ticket.

Yes that's good to hear they followed through and people also got some great deals from them at the O2, both on Sunday and Thursday, well from the people selling via Seatwave I guess but that's because they have a little office there.

To keep that thread alive!

It is close to X-Mas and I purchased some gifts for myself winking smiley over the last weeks, which I want to share here ...

1. Original Contract for T.A.M.I show in 1964, 9 pages about payment ($25.000), number of performances (4) etc. etc. Signed by Eric Easton on behalf of the Stones. This is a really rare and early historical document of the Stones and I'm very proud of owning it (these documents barely appear in collector circles) :-)

2. Happy New Year Card and promo single from 1983

3. Original Black and Blue party invitation (not the fakes circulating at ebay)

4. Collectable Pin Set Babylon Tour

5. rare Promo Poster using the Beggars session Photo

6. Ronnie Wood Promo Poster

Merry X-Mas to all IORRians!

Indeed, I'd never thought of looking it up, I guess it makes that poster even rarer then ;-)

Just happened upon this while looking for something .

I'm not really sure of it's rarity but I have several copies of this sleeve and this is the only one like it .

German Issue

US and all others issue

The German sleeve is printed backwards !
Has to be a misprint .

The obverse side of all sleeves is the same .

Check your stash everybody see if you have one .
