I was wondering if any of you knowledgable folks on here could help me remember where I got this. I guess it's about 22-23 years old now and I remember getting it from one of those great little record shops that used to post adverts in Sounds Music Paper back then. They were a reputable shop and very well known but I just can't think who it was. I've never seen one like it since. It was a special edition that they did including Denim printed sleeve complete with Zip and then included a Mick Taylor Signed insert. Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Very cool nobodysbusiness. I remember seeing that at a record fair in the early 90s. Wish I would have bought it. But at least I was smart enough to buy the iorr box with Mick T's signature.

I don't know if this story is true , but I took a chance on this .

Here is the story that goes along with these .

This is a very unique set of promotional "Rolling stones" This set of "stones" were given to various advertising agencies from the Arrow radio station in 1997 to promote the "Rolling Stones Bridges to Babalyon" tour.

These are real engraved "stones" with what you see engraved upon them. They are not simply painted, but the titles are engraved into the rocks.

You can see exactly what you are getting. This is the complete set. Originally they came in a small bag, but the bag fell apart.

Arrow radio was an FM solid oldies Station in Los Angeles. These rocks were their attempt to get the various media suppliers onboard to promote the tour.

I don't know how many of these "rolling stones" they made. The rocks themselves are pretty cool. The Bridges to Babalyon tour was a classic Rolling Stones Event.

Please offer any insight as to the authenticity , thanks

Here is a 10 inch test pressing that I obtained several years ago from an estate sale of some of Eddie Kramer's stuff.
The writing seen (in Eddie's hand) is on the front of the blank white 10" cover the record is resting on in this photo.
The label reads:
33 1/3 RPM
Produced by 3 madmen
& 1 BIRD

Any guess's as to who these "madmen" are?
Mick, Keith, Eddie? or maybe Mick, Keith, Andrew?
I'm assuming that the "Bird" refers to Marianne herself(?)

Here's another item acquired from legendary engineer, Eddie Kramer.
I could be wrong, I think this was issued to Eddie for the Cleveland, Ohio, June 14, 1975 show that Eddie recorded.
Signed by Peter Rudge.
Coincidently, my first Stones show....and after over 100 Stones shows, still my favorite.

A shot of some of the souvenirs I purchased during the 1978 tour.
I saw 4 shows on that tour.....I know I purchased the "tux" jacket outside the Buffalo, NY, concert.
The jacket was produced by "after six formals", which I'm pretty sure was the manufacturer of the jacket Mick sported that tour.
It was being sold after the show out of a Ryder rental truck by a couple radio station personnel from the radio station QFM-97, as advertised on the back of the coat. It was $5 bucks.
The rest of the stuff (t-shirt, basketball trunks, belt buckle, and visor) is official gear and was purchased inside the venues (Cleveland, Lexington, Chicago)

Here is a shot of my one-sided "Dance Little Sister" test press from the US.
I have quite a few test pressings of 45's.....most of them subsequently issued on the "Rolling Stones Records" label.
This was the B-side of the 1974 USA top twenty cover hit "Ain't Too Proud To Beg".

One sided seven inch, 33 1/3 "Radio Spots" from the, at the time, upcoming 1978 film "Coming Home".
Directed by our friend Hal Ashby.
Aside from "Bookends" by Simon & Garfunkel, edited versions of the Abkco controlled "No Expectations", "Sympathy For The Devil", and "Jumpin' Jack Flash" are served up.
