I uploaded this earlier this week on the How Do You Copy Photos thread

Anyway, thought it was a nice pic so I'm placing it in its correct place

I wonder why it says Farewell Concert. It was the last stop of the North America Tour, but there was no talk about quitting.

I have always loved that piece Andreas. You didn't happen to buy it from an English dealer did you? We should do some more trades... I have a thirst for some new items.
Matt, No - I didn't get this from the English dealer (I think I know who you mean ... too expensive), but also this, from another collector, wasn't cheap ;-/

I think I will be in the next weeks in London again, so we should meet again :-))

To keep this thread alive ;-/

Here is something special for the serious 'Ronnie Wood collector'.

An original contract for the Jeff Beck Group at Marquee Club on January 14th 1969 ... with Ronnie on bass at that time and Rod the Mod on vocals ...

They played (You Shook Me-Let Me Love You/Plynth [Water Down The Drain]/ Blues De Luxe/Jeff’s Boogie/Rock My Plimsoul/Shapes Of Things/ I Ain’t Superstitious/Jailhouse Rock)
Thanks to Nico Zentgraf for his great 'Woodwork' ... (http://www.nzentgraf.de/books/rw/Wood1.htm)

Btw. The contract is signed by Manager Peter Grant (yes, THE Peter Grant, well known as Led Zeppelin Manager).

That's cool, steffiestones.

I am curious to know if the tape box and its 3D* photo is the exact same size as the photo pasted on vinyl album jacket?...

I have a hunch that it is exactly the same. And if so, that would mean that the width of the blue and white border on the album jacket wasn't a decision based on aesthetics ... just based on the size of an ordinary tape box on top of a record album jacket.

This is blowing a stash of cool items all at once! (Don't worry, there is plenty to keep this thread alive). Three different 60's toy guitars on their original backing boards, so very, very rare.

I buy individual items or whole collections. Please just email me if you have anything to sell or trade: mattleeuk@gmail.com

I`m so happy with it, I have to share this one with you:

Charlie signed my 10 inch vinyl at Cafe Ursprung, Rostock, Germany (12.3.2012).Very small venue , just around 100 people. I was lucky still standing right in front of his 1949 drumkit when all of a sudden he came back on this little stage to talk to his technician. Rolling his eyes and looking at the ceiling, when I gave him my From One Charlie. Laid it down on his Right-Tom and signed it. No , signing is not right. Drawing is better. Stopped two times, looked at it, added a little thing here and there, and gave it back to me when he thougt it was perfect. No words. It is perfect and looks so beautiful. I´m still smilingsmiling smiley. Thank you Charlie Watts for a perfect evening.

Tom

Great, Stefan. Making it look like a t-shirt print. Great shot anyway.

LiveAtHidepark, I hope that French Satisfaction EP you got is really an original!

I'm having my doubts, because of the "s" in Keith Richards.

As far as I know, he was known as Keith Richard from 1963 to the mid-seventies.

about the Satisfaction EP, printing date on the cover says 8-65, so August 1965
looks good to me ...

about the "s", French people are not very good in English
see in the Not Fade Away EP, "Stoned" became "Stones" ...

Yes, it is an original. I have 9 variations of this french EP, all have the "s" in Richards.

Marianne Faithfull Sister Morphine/Something Better, a song she written with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards came out in the spring of 1969, but Decca, alarmed by the drug reference in the title decided to withdraw the single after two days.Only 500 copies exist. This is the demo.

Remember when the internet was new...

I bought this from Anthill on the Stones' own website via an online auction.
