Alexstone: Those VW Golf "Rolling Stones" can you now buy for prices probably lower than the scale-models! In real size, model 1995, tornado-red and well run in!

Mick likes those sweaters; reminds me of the IORR sessions.
And where is Jo's hand?

OK, the "Super Deluxe Band Signed Art Licks Set" is not exactly rare but when it was on sale in mid december for a few seconds during an Amazon Germany "Lightning Deal" for 899 EUR, I could not resist. I am probably the only person in the world who bought this set so far :-)

This box set is HUGE (almost 1 meter x 70 cm x 15 cm) and HEAVY (almost 40 kilograms). It is absolutely beautiful and nicely done in every detail. The box has almost the same size as the packaging of my 46" LCD TV!

Now, the pictures are framed (with museum glass almost as expensive as the set itself!) and hanging on the wall:

Now the question remains:

What to do with that big and heavy box? You really need a large loft to display the wooden box...

Anyone else owning this set?

Do the autographs look authentic? :-)

Museum glass? That's expensive indeed. Nice

The difference to regular glass is amazing (but also almost 100 EUR per picture)! I had another framed poster (approx. same size [60cm x 90cm]) hanging on this wall, framed with regular glass. A day and night difference, almost no reflections anymore and the colours come to life now... Definitely worth the investment.

While focussing currently on Some Girls related items which are still missing in my collection, I found and aquired these real odd items ...

These punched out faces from the record sleeves were thrown into the audience by Mick during the 78's tour at a few concerts only (reason was that first covers had to be withdrawn) - very hard to find ...

Hi Andreas,

Yes, different mixes and i guess you'right were it comes from.
I send you next week a pic of a very rare decca acetate...

Let it bleed, mono sampler acetate with 4 songs, different mixes.
Rare metal acetate with the Decca test pressing label! Very unusual!
All the UK acetates from LIB are produced on blank Emidisc, this one is produced on a blank decca.
Songs are:

- Gimme Shelter
- Country honk
- love in vain
- Live with me

12"acetate of the UK EP Street fighting man/Surprise Surprise/Everybody needs somebody to love.
On the acetate is typed 'Christmas EP".They probably had the intention to release this EP by Christmas but the month of release was June. Anyone more info?

13 inch BBC acetate, 5 songs straight run through of a 66 Stones show, similar to Have You See Your Mother, LIVE, but two different versions than LP. Does have the short Long John Baldry intro...

Who is the guy in this photo? I'm pretty sure it's not John Lennon, but someone else. Does anyone know his name?
