Matt once mentioned in this thread, that of these Fender promo shoes only two handful (max. 20) have been made. I'm the lucky one who got the second known pair of these shoes (new and unworn, only the box is a little damaged and some dark spots on the rubber ...), and it was a bargain ...

I had the chance to get a proof of the slick for "Emotional Rescue", which has a totally different color (brilliant light blue instead the darker blue on the final issue), no red title letters on front, missing credits and song titles on back cover and also no spine lettering.
anybody out there having also some rare proofs or different slicks ?
