They won't fill stadiums, that's for sure, but they could fill arena's. But if they want to, they need to stop making such a big deal about it. They're not gods, there just guys who can play a good rock 'n roll show. Too much talk, too little action. Let's see them do a couple more shows.
But honestly, I doubt it ever hapenning, and if it would, it would be a purely financial thing for them. If they would have enjoyed the music, they wouldn't have stopped in the first place.

get some perspective
Youre talking about a band who havent done anything in almost three decades and yet, when they release a 35 year old live album and DVD it sells several million in no time. They released just eight studio albums yet theyre still the 2nd biggest selling band in history (in the US anyway)
Two generations of their massive fanbase have never seen them perform.
When you think how big the demand was for the Stones was in 1989 after eight years, and how its still very big every 3 or so years since, then multiply that several times and you'll maybe appreciate what the demand would be for a LZ reunion after a break of almost 30 years. They could fill any stadium on the planet and basically name their price. If they wanted to tour for a prolonged period, it would be the biggest tour in music history. Absolutely no question.
their reasons for stopping in the first place had nothing to do with being unable to 'enjoy the music' and if a reunion was for 'purely financial' motives, theyve had ample opportunities to have exploited it since 1980.
Personally, I think they should let it go and shouldnt tour unless they have a new record, but thats just me.

even the stones tongue is bigger than led zep
Zeppelin has sold more records than the Stones. In fact, Led Zep IV has sold nearly three times as many copies as the best-selling Stones albums. But in terms of cultural and historical significance, record sales don't always mean that much. I think I once read somewhere that the worst selling Simon and Garfunkel album had outsold the best selling Stones album. Does that mean Simon and Garfunkel are "bigger" than the Stones?
Yeah I agree, album sales is not the be all- I just dont see LZ as being bigger than the Stones, how can they be? IMHO
