Well close your eyes and keep the hope then.
I don't think they would ever take the children and grandchildren on the stage if this were not the final show. That's just my oppinion.

She drew out all her money out of the Southern Trust
And put her little boy aboard a Greyhound Bus
Leaving Louisiana for the Golden West
Down came the tears from her happiness
Her own little son name 'o Johnny B. Goode
Was gonna make some motion pictures out in Hollywood

Bye, bye, bye, bye
Bye, bye, bye, bye
Bye bye Johnny
Good bye Johnny B. Goode

She remembered taking money out from gathering crop
And buying Johnny's guitar at a broker shop
As long as he would play it by the railroad side
And wouldn't get in trouble he was satisfied
But never thought that there would come a day like this
When she would have to give her son a goodby kiss

Going
Bye, bye, bye, bye
Bye, bye, bye, bye
Bye bye Johnny
Good bye Johnny B. Goode

She finally got the letter she was dreaming of
Johnny wrote and told her he had fell in love
As soon as he was married he would bring her back
And build a mansion for 'em by the railroad track
So every time they heard the locomotive roar
They'd be a' standin', a' wavin' by the kitchen door

Howling
Bye, bye, bye, bye
Bye, bye, bye, bye
Bye bye Johnny
Good bye Johnny B. Goode

Yes, star crossed in pleasure the stream flows on by
Yes, as we're sated in leisure, we watch it fly

And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me

Time can tear down a building or destroy a woman's face
Hours are like diamonds, don't let them waste

Time waits for no one, no favours has he
Time waits for no one, and he won't wait for me

Men, they build towers to their passing yes, to their fame everlasting
Here he comes chopping and reaping, hear him laugh at their cheating

And time waits for no man, and it won't wait for me
Yes, time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me

Drink in your summer, gather your corn
The dreams of the night time will vanish by dawn

And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me

No no no, not for me....

THANK YOU ROLLING STONES FOR A GREAT TOUR !
I LOVE YA !!!!!!!!!!!

Well it´s the final show of the tour. London is their home and families are there tonight. What´s so predictive about that. Guess they all just wanna have some fun

I don't know, Mick always had Jerry Hall Dancing around on stage during HONKY TONK WOMAN when they would bring all those babes on stage (1981,89?) It's definitely the end of Giant 2 year long stadium tours, I agree with that.... but they might scale it down and do shorter tours. Someone said the other night on here that the company that makes the Stones stages already has an order in for a number of Arena size stages so that could be the USA in 2008 after SHINE A LIGHT comes out....Thing is, when they do finally stop , As in STOP FOR GOOD - it will be very, very sad....

Well there wasn't any surprises tonight except the children. So I see know reason in believing the things about a new tour that "insiders" have also let us believe.
No matter what you guys think...this is it, they wouldn't have done the thing with the children if it weren't, I'm sure.
Anyone in their right mind can see that, but go on dreaming.
I've had hoped they would do another tour, if they still were able to deliver a great show, but I still wanted them to quit before they became a parody of what they used to be "the greatest rock'n'roll band in the World".

Well life goes on. We have the records, the DVDs, the bootlegs and all the great great memories.

If I'm proven wrong, just point all your fingers in my direction and I will crawl in the dirt infront of you all.

svendborg, they're having Arena size stages made as we speak, BV said there would be more shows. I think an Arena tour of the USA in 2008 is very possible - 3 months or something, at their age they can't take 2 year breaks anymore... There will be more shows IMO, after 2008 I don't know.....

Well BV said that there would be some surprises in London as well, didn't he. I have also read about the stages, will believe it if it happens.
