ok maybe I want to say more lol

I been thinking - NOT sulking ;o) - about the "same old" set list.

I've been at Stones gigs since Earls Court in 76 to last on Tuesday at O2.

My gigs are in double figures and I've only heard 4 songs at every show:

HTW TD BS & JJF

Just thought it'd make interesting reading - cos I really really wanna be SOMEWHERE else tonight! yawning smiley

I can still be a great show, no matter what they play. I wish, I was there and if I were, I wouldn't expect too many surprises, but I would have enjoyed myself I'm sure.

would you rather have stayed awake and then just been disappointed?

if the stones aren't going to "wake up" for the show, why should we?

Then perhaps that's a good omen that they will be back.
Surely, if it was indeed "The Last Time", they would pull out all the stops...otherwise, it's a routine end to a tour.

It's no a question of me being disappointed, wouldn't have been whatever they play, as I'm not at the show, I don't really care that much.
But it's an unwritten thing, that you don't tell this when the concert is running, it takes the excitiment out of it.

seems to me that it was the stones themselves that took the excitement out of it!

and . . . thats a "well-known thing" in itself . . .

Perhaps, but there are people here who likes to this information while the shows are on, and there's no reasons why a couple of fools comes around and spoil the whole thing.
Personally I don't care that much, BUT I know for a fact that people here has a great following the reports of the shows running in during the concerts.

Some folk just like to think there being right is more important than the enjoyment of others. Many of us didn't really expect anything special and knew where we could get the info ahead of time if we so wished to be informed but were not that inconsiderate to spoil things for others.
