I noticed that a few people did not seem to believe that the show was over! After the encore and the lights came back on,a BOB MARLEY song had started playing on the P.A, and people were leaving, but a woman on the end of my row, refused to let me pass her, and said "What?! Don't you want to hear the last song?!" I said "I think it is over now love" but she refused to believe it!

I must admit for a few seconds i though they was coming back on, the lights were down and it seemed for ages and i even nudged my friend to say there could be a chance the stones are coming back on, is this the surprise? never known this before etc then suddenly the apropriate song exodus come on plus the lights and then you knew it was over.
as you can see im new to the forums & just wanted to post what i thought about the show - have only seen the stones twice, the first time was at the I.O.W fest where they were without doubt the highlight of the show - i was bored stiff until the stones started, i was so impressed that i booked the tickets to the o2 the next morning
it totally lived up to expectations and was even better than the festival - i had a really great view & it was so cool to be able to actually see them doing there thing up on stage instead of standing in the middle of a field watching a big screen, being able to watch the interactions between the band and catch the little looks between songs was great, cant believe how much i paid for my seat and i didnt even sit in it thou! was far too busy dancing and singing along, as ive only seen them once before the setlist didnt bother me too much - i just wanted them to do paint it black as its my all time fav - i was so excited when they did, anyone sat in my section must have thought i'd had a fit :0) to be honest the songs were all a bit of a blur i thought that they were all amazing and just wanted the show to go on & on
Are the reason the songs a blur to you Lukester for a different reason to stones1984? Good review though - its great the thrill of seeing them perform.
