Don’t understand why tickets are around the £200 range. Sold out of course. I queued. Got to the select and buy stage and thought why so much. When did a gig become a £200 layout. Probably double with travel and drinks and meals etc. I bailed.
Most of the tickets are now on the official touting websites being resold at £800+
Madness and out of control.
Official touts making a fortune.
Websites charging the buyer and the seller. Money for nothing and the artists see squat of that. Some tickets sold 3 or 4 times.
But the bands can control the base price. Give the real fans the chance.
Maybe it’s just me.
I’m lucky I could afford it.
I Just decided enough is enough. NO.
Oh well.
It is what it is. Nobody’s come up with a solution yet.
RIP Jeff. I’ll watch the blu ray and buy the album I’m sure."

Jeff Beck was definitely a bit of a showman -the way he dressed, moved, sunglasses, huge batteries of Amps etc.
A good example is Crossroads 2007 if I remember it well. In contrast a player like John McLaughlin really didn't give a rat's ass at the same festival. He just played in his leisure summer clothes, plugging into a tiny amp. They might as well have closed down the festival after his performance to my taste. All the other players made me feel like going "cold turkey" for 10 minutes.

Well, there you go . Sometimes depended on which side of the bed he got out of.
