If they had to choose, would Mick's medical team suggest that going into a studio to work on (or finish) the new album is probably more advisable than a late Autumn concert tour?

The current situation with Mick might have an influence on the band's motivation to finish the album, and they might reevaluate the wall they once hit which seemed to have a rippling effect.
Instead of a major stumbling block, they now might see the wall as a blessing - no pain, no gain, and I imagine they'll be ready and willing to leap over it, and ultimately finish the album up.
I can't imagine Keith being so critical of Mick's demos, while at the same time Mick might be willing to work endlessly on of one of Keith's 'dynamite' riffs hoping for something that's worthy of a Stones tune.
First things first though - Mick's full recovery, followed by rescheduled tour dates, followed by vacation/rest/relaxation, mixed in with plenty of family time.
Might have a couple new tunes by the end of this year, and a full album towards then end of 2020 around Christmas time - maybe a bit sooner.

Can we start a campaign to petition the Stones to not brickwall the new album (in the mastering sense)? That is my fervent wish. Don't give it the Bigger Bang treatment. No more loudness wars.
