Huh.

Well it's what he had when they did that load of diaper fill in 1985 so it seems like you'd like it.

It was quite short during the recording sessions for BRIDGES though...

I haven't seen this on the list...

Mick sang background vocals on "Buried Alive" on Ronnie's "Gimme Some Neck" album.

Good point. I'd have to dig out my vinyl to view the liner notes but I thought Mick appeared on more than one track... Charlie too, I believe.

Thanks for this. It's been added to the list.

Possibly not considered because they are Jagger/Richards compositions, but Jagger is co-writer of both Act Together and Sure The One You Need, from Ronnie's I've Got My Own Album To Do.

And on I Can Feel The Fire, supposedly (he traded it for IORR).

I think he plays guitar and sings with Ron and various guys on IORR and 'Fire'.
Then on 'Neck" album he sings on "Breakin my Heart' and 'Buried Alive' - he is well up in the mix. Also Ron says Mick wrote most the lyrics to 'Infekshun'.

Thought of a few others:
He sings BU with Neon Leon doing "Heart of Stone"
He sang with Peter Tosh on "Walk dont look back' of course.
He did the 'Too Many Cooks' session with the allstars where he sings and produces.
He sings on some Peter Wolf albums.
If we read the early credits he produces many of the Chris Farlowe sessions, and PP Arnold.
He played guitar and sang on early 'Sister Morphine' session with Marianne.

The Red Devils cd with Mick is sensational, thanks to whoever mentioned that as a collection to be added to that comprehensive list. ( it was you, Palace Revolution!)
I also think a stripped down version of " Hard Woman" would be awesome with a more natural vocal...although I too like the original. It is a great song!
Mick singing " Moves Like Jagger" would be a hoot! Someone in his inner circle should mention it....

Added some bootlegs and updated featurings.

About bootlegs, if someone knows better sources or feels essential bootlegs are missing, please post them.

Kowalski
he produced the session with Rod Stewart and PP Arnold singing "Come Back Baby" - great, great song.

And that cool single " Exile on Main Street Blues" it's a low down joint...

And another mention for "Heart of Stone/Dimples/The Last Time" BU vox with neon Leon

In '76 supposedly in Brazil with listed S.A. musicians he recorded a single 'Scarlet'. ( so now Mick, Keith and Jimmy Page all have a mystical track "Scarlet" in their past)

Then he did 'Around & Around' with George Thorogood

With the exception of Wandering Spirit and a couple of nuggets here and there Mick's solo output has been a big disappointment to my ears.

What a great list...thanks for this.

It amazes me how busy Mick Jagger is when you think he is quiet.

A Rolling Stone gathers no moss.

This seems to be one of the better solo-tracks. It´s 80s pop/rock, but I like it. Maybe I m completely wrong (again) and it is bullshit - so I´m waiting on GasLightStreet´s final judgement.

I remember bying the 12" release with "I'm ringing". Maybe the production is sounding typical 80´s, but it´s a very good song and Jeff Beck is just perfect.
Also like very much the electric version of "Hard Woman" released on an other 12".

It was recorded a few days before the Stones gathered for that hilarious One Hit video. One of his better solo tracks? Nah. It has Jeff Beck on it.

Trying to get a grasp on all Mick Jagger's protean solo work.

......................
- Mr Blue, She's Just Thirteen, Oh Virginia, Zulu Warrior (1973-1979/2001) - on "Pay Pack & Follow" (Peter Wolf)
......................
- Peter Wolf - Pay Pack & Follow sessions (1973-1979)
......................

Both of those are, of course, John Phillips, not Peter Wolf.

I think I'm Ringing and Ruthless People are very 80s, but great nevertheless. Not everybody's cup of tea, though. Same goes for the outtake Danger Up Ahead. Is there a bootleg silver CD of the Primitive Cool outtakes btw?

Re: Mick Jagger solo works

I like Wandering Spirit (thanks to Rick Rubin), two songs on Goddess ('Too Far Gone' and 'Blue') and 'Old habits die hard'. She's the boss, Primitive Cool and Superheavy are basically poor works.

Re: Mick Jagger solo works

I always liked Jagger's solo work and I never understood why he returned to the Stones, apart from financial reasons.

Is that that little number that we see Jagger doing in some film, where he basically doodling and humming "I dont care"? Maybe in CS Blues?
It's odd - some of the most captivating musical moments I can thnk of feat. Jagger is him just sketching on something. The early versions of 'Zip Mouth Angel', 'Gangters Moll' or 'Disco Muzik' come to mind
