Ok I just watched the documentary.

Here are my favorites. The pre-show Tumbling Dice warm up from the Paradiso and the sound check of I Can't Get Next To You from Brixton Academy.

None of the Toshiba outtakes from the Stripped Companion were included on the documentary dvd unless there were Easter Eggs that I could not find.

Still, that 'LARS download' makes no sense at all
On new Totally Stripped LARS is listed from the 1st Paradiso show (8. Like a rolling stone (Live At The Paradiso, Amsterdan, 26th May 95))
On old Stripped interactive feature - from the 2nd Paradiso show (Like A Rolling Stone (Bob Dylan) -Amsterdam 27.5.95)
I believe, we have a screw up in the booklet

Kinda exagrerated comparison but I got the point.
You really hear it during some of his speeches between songs.
Kind of a slight delay coming from the audience mikes IMO because there's time between the sentence and the audience reaction that can't be shortened unless it get weird listening to it.

On the songs it's not really noticeable...

I think the delay is on purpose and comes from post-production. The same effect was used on the Sticky Fingers Live album.

oh my god, i hope it's not mixed in the same ways as the SF-live album (which sounds awful)

I usually don't buy CDs or DVDs, but it looks like iTunes will only sell the documentary, not the "Soundtrack-CD" or the full concerts (at least in germany). Or has someone other informations?

The LARS version on the cd is totally unreleased to my ears.
Slower, simpler, somewhat a little uncertain, a completely different mix compared to the original 1995 Stripped version and single edited version.
Am I wrong?

I really noticed it on the songs. Mick sounds apart from the band. It seems a very different mix or production from the original Stripped album.

Does anyone know when bol.de will deliver?
Status of my order is "In Bearbeitung", which I interpret that they're working on it.
Has anyone more information?

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

The Ward Box set is Awesome !

In my personal opinion smiling smiley , Brixton Academy superior then Paris etc , But its in the eye of the beholder ,

Every " Fan " has their own preferences and personal likeness of Filming / Sound / Vocals , Guitars / Acoustic etc etc smileys with beer , Brixton Aademy rules >grinning smiley<

Is Keith playing the Boogie on these club shows? What an aggressive, buzzing sound. Like a hive of bees smiling smiley

If you're asking about the Japanese edition: yes, the (second) booklet is in English and no, unfortunately, there are no English subtitles...

Yes, LARS on Stripped was from brixton, on Totally Stripped it's from the 1st Paradiso gig.
If you compare the sound of the only common track to both releases (Street Fighting Man from 1st Paradiso), you notice a clear difference between the Don Was and Bob Clearmountain works.

I am a big fan of Bob's work, but it seems more accurate on live recordings in bigger venues like stadiums ans arenas. The job made by Don Was on Stripped is a bit better IMHO
