Most probably: very much correct.
(Although Ron proved to be a liability throughout that
tour - and from 'day 1'. I saw them 9 times on 2 different continents in those days; and to say the least, that's my recollection of it. ;o)

I saw them 14 times on this tour (2 shows in NYC & 12 in Europe from June to August, including the Paradiso from the Museumplein, the Olympia and Brixton) and Ron was MIA most of the time.
Listen to the first Werchter boot... Ouch !

BTW Keith was on fire most of the time...

I think I catch your drift - but what exacty is "MIA"?

Okay, in preparation, which show should I see first/ which show's the best out of 3?

Re: Totally Stripped

I would do Brixton, then Paris then 'Dam. From the "very good" to the "jaw-dropping".

My 2 cents of course...

And am I the only one who's postively amazed by "Connection" from Paris?

Brixton in my opinion is by far the weakest of the 3 but it's still damn good.

That live version of The Spider And The Fly is mind blowing, awesome.

Has anyone received the bonus disc in the Ward set yet? Can they shed any light on whether the 3 songs are the same as the ones on the dvds?

I was expecting spider and the fly to be all acoustic like on Stripped. In deed a nice surprise. Both the Olympia and paradisio are killer

I think Brixton was a stronger show than Olympia in many respects. At Olympia Mick starts in wrong on several songs such as IORR and after MR even remarks something to the effect "well that was interesting!" Olympia does have the stronger acoustic set.

Fantastic! Let us hear more from the cd! >grinning smiley<
BTW: It is mixed differently than Stripped. Less upfront, more reverb from the venue.

Paradiso is the best! Great picture and sound quality, great filming and a mind-blowing performance.

Watching the great Olympia or Brixton shows you feel like watching a common stadium or arena gig.

The booklet notes provide the following information about the cd.

Street Fighting Man was the version included on the original Stripped album.
Gimme Shelter is the Wild Horses b-side version.
The version of Like A Rolling Stone was previously available as a download only.

The rest of the tracks on the cd are not previously released.

Could you kindly direct to that download version of LARS? Because in Rarities Done Right only single edit is mentioned.

I have a strange feeling - this is a type of info we face in Rarities 1971 - 2005 booklet.

A Paradiso LARS version was included in the interactive part of the original Stripped CD. Maybe the confusion comes from this...

Correct. Everybody forgot that one.
Maybe this is the reason for confusion.

Please do not use IORR for illegal distribution of music. I might have to close the account if this is happening.
