Getting excited to hear all the reviews. Wish I was going to be there to file my own. Hoping that Aquamarine has a great view for the show - I TOTALLY understand the inability to relax until you KNOW that you're in! One of my best GA concerts was for a Little Feat club show with a 5'0" girl-friend... Although we got there late, I suggested that we see if we could get a bit close to the stage. All of the narrow spaces between people were far too small for me (6'2") to think about walking through but she hit the holes and I followed in her wake as people allowed her to pass. Before I knew it, we were in the 2nd row and using the edge of the stage to rest our drinks. smileys with beerdrinking smiley Here's hoping that some of our petite IORRians have similar success over the next few nights!

Peace,
Mr DJA

Aww, thanks. smileys with beer I expect to be lining up early in the cold Saturday (if the plane makes it on time), maybe I'll meet some of the other petites there!

Thanks for that info. Read on Thrasher's Wheat that Neil was speaking at the SEMA conference in Vegas today. Could be in NYC in a matter of hours, but suspect it's just someone's wishful thinking - that or they're repeating a very old New Barbarians rumor. ;-)

Keith, of course, lives just up the road in CT, and his appearance has been rumored since these shows were announced.

Well, it was stressed that these are just rumors via someone at the venue, so I'm not going to read too much into them. I'd have expected Keith to play at the private show tonight, if at all.

Hope you all enjoy the Ronnie and Mick show as it really is something. If any of the rumored guests turn up then that is a bonus. In any event a splendid time is guaranteed for all!

I'll think we'll have a better idea by tomorrow how this is going to run but giant guests for such a small place could spell havoc the next night. My guess that's why they'll save any other Stones for the last night. Many celebrities come to NY just this time of year to do Christmas shopping and I know for a fact that Neil has done just this in the past. BTW Young is by far the most intimidating rock star I ever met, kind of like if the actor James Stewart was a zombie....

Don't cry, I'm pretty dubious about this, especially now there's a rumor out there.

Maybe it's a little shorter tonight because of the later, private show.

Hmmm...

Awaiting reports from those who were there: bybyejohnny?

As far as I read something from those who were there, it seems Mick Taylor was on fire (as usual) and it was a great concert. Nothing we wouldn't expect from a concert like this, though.

As far as I was searching for photographs and some information on twitter, nobody mentioned that. In fact, I think the people who were at the Cutting Room tonight was really enjoying the show, instead of taking pictures or posting something on internet.

I wasn't suggesting people didn't enjoy the show, just saying that there wasn't a special guest. smiling smiley
