Thanks! They didn't mention where the standing section was, by any chance? I got GA standing tickets thinking it was the same as other venues where you stand in line to get a spot on the rail, but obviously it's a different kind of venue, so I'm a bit concerned about seeing--not that I really need to feast my eyes on those two, I guess, as long as I can hear them!

I believe they are behind the tables. You will be able to see. I heard seating capacity is 200 ?
The cutting room says stubhub is issuing refunds to buyers. What if the buyer already has the ticket? Do they have to mail it back to stubhub? How does the seller get the ticket back?. This seems like a lot of confusion. They may have some legal problems.

This will be a great show!

only 200 and no obstructed views! There doesnt seem to be any reason to get their early to jocky for position. Its a shame that here is all this stub hub controversy though. I wonder if they have any plans to add a show or if they are just tryng to prevent a (mini)riot the night of the show with disgruntled stubhubber by appeasing them with that teaser.

wuh??? this is going to be a massive clusterf*ck! Uhhhh seems like the venue was completely unprepared for an event with this kind of demand. If it was going to be a will call only paperless show from the beginning then they should have just done that. Once the cat is out of the bag and tickets are already in circulation you simply can't do this. They could run into some legal issues here refusing people entry who have legit tickets in hand regardless of how they acquired them.

Agreethumbs up

The Cutting Room says they're working with StubHub, and that StubHub will issue refunds on all tickets purchased, yet tickets are still available on StubHub. - [www.stubhub.com]

Why are there "mix-ups" like this? It's really not that uncommon of an occurrence, and it's bad business. It's especially tough for people coming in from out of town to see the show, which would be me if I planned to attend. I'd be furious. Someone should tweet Ronnie and tell him about this. He's a good guy, maybe they'll play extra shows to appease the fans...all of the fans. In a perfect world, that could happen.winking smiley

I have a hard ticket. Are they saying I could NOT give it to a friend?. That is insane!

Something similar happened with the first round of lottery tix for the Zep reunion show. The promoter eventually had to back down, threatened with legal action, because he hadn't stipulated no-resale -of-passcodes-via-eBay upfront.

Interesting that they're listed as the Mick Taylor Band. Prices outrageous, but hey, free shipping!

The previous show is still listed as starting at 10 p.m. on the Saturday, btw. Hope they sort that one out, as I saw elsewhere it had been moved to 7.30.

More tickets available on StubHub today than there were yesterday.

Wonder if StubHub knows that The Cutting Room is working with them.

Exactly bye bye johnny!

They are trying to scare people from buying tickets on stubhub. If the tickets are still for sale, what does that tell you?

Cutting room might have a legal problem trying to enforce this after the tickets are already in circulation. 50% of the tickets purchased could be from third parties.

In the end I think everyone will get in.

Well, the price has certainly come down from the $1500 a day or two ago.

The Cutting Room's ticket threat appears to be an empty one.

Aside from the ever growing number of tickets on StubHub, this from a post on The Cutting Room's Facebook page:

"Stubhub has not cancelled my order and when i called them they had no idea what this was all about."

It's probably dawned on them that there's absolutely no way to tell if a hard ticket was bought via Stubhub or anyplace else.

Hey all you IORRians!

Who's all going on either Friday or Saturday or both, and what kind of seats do you have,
if you want to say?

I don't, I'm a standee on Saturday. I'll be the very short woman by myself, since I'll have to leave my ticketless friend at the door.

Aqua, aren't you getting excited? You sound kinda bummed.
I shoulda put seats in quote marks. I feel lucky to get in the door. I'll be another short woman standing alone.
I'll be having fun, in any case. cool smiley

I hope someone will save my place during breaks for the restroom. winking smiley

Zero tickets available on StubHub. Perhaps The Cutting Room's threat wasn't such an empty one after all.

That or they've all been sold. ;-)

Re: Ronnie Wood and Mick Taylor - The Cutting Room in NYC, November 7-9

My guess is would have been that they'd been sold, but since one was going for $1500, this seems unlikely . .

You know, I think I was lying a bit, before. I won't really be excited until the plane gets me there in time without any weather delays etc.--unlike my last couple of trips to NY--and I get my ticket safely from will-call, and get into the place, and then find a spot where I can at least hear well. THEN I can exhale and get excited. smiling smiley
