Stones covers the Stones like

What are the Rolling Stones covers by other artists the Rolling Stones dig the most?

Hope this thread will not be recycled in "Post your favorite Youtube videos")

Satisfaction by Otis Redding was often quoted by the Stones... They even covered the cover during the 1971 UK tour.

I once heard Keith say he really liked Devo's version of Satisfaction and that he wished he'd thought of doing it like that..............I guess he could have been tongue in cheek although I don't know why as it's a pretty convincing alternate rendition imo.................

Besides Otis Redding's Satisfaction and Gram's Wild Horses, I don't really recall them talking much about bands covering them.

Mick should invite this chick up onstage for a duet one of these tours (Kristi Johnston of Iron City Soul Shakers).

He's probably never heard this cover though.

Mick likes DEVO's Satisfaction... (I don't believe Keith does, tbh)

And I dunno about THEM, but I LIKE Terence Trent D'Arby's (live) rendition of Under My Thumb. Reminiscant of what Otis made Satisfaction sound like...
