I just got a VIP Table ticket, hope some IORR people will be at my table...price is kinda steep, but it's only (cough cough) money. (that I don't have), The wonder and the curse of credit cards.....

Woo Hoo! What a night. Just got back to Philly after spending the night driving around NYC looking at some of Banksy's work; now I've got standing room for both nights!Sometimes things just work out.

I was hoping the opposite, especially since I like to stand at shows/I'm five feet tall!

Here's one review I read about the place:

Nice large music venue with lots of options as to where you can enjoy the music. There's an open area in front of the stage for standing, tables with seating off to the side and in the back they have a giant screen projecting what's on stage if you want to sit back a little bit. The decor feels like Las Vegas a little with a GIANT chandelier made from real Fender stratocasters! I would go back just to see that. Good sound.

MT had better be bloody good if I end up going to this thing!

good these guys are playing other shows. Keeps them sharp. Means too there's a guitar section with a RS history that's ready and available if Keef retires/drops out.

I work in midtown Manhattan, not too far from the club. Having seen Johnny's original post a few days ago, I was eager for these shows to appear on the clubs website, which had not been the case before yesterday evening. Last night, I walked over to the Cutting Room around 7:00. The club is on East 32nd Street... just west of Park Avenue, on the south side of the street. After entering from the street at dusk, I did not go all the way into the darkened club. I couldn't see much beyond the hostess at her lecturn... a bar ahead on the right and another darkened walkway on the left... Just to the right was a coatroom/ ticket/ manager room...

I asked them if they were selling tickets for upcoming shows by Ron Wood and Mick Taylor... I explained that I was confused, because I had read about these shows online, but club's website did not list these shows... The manager was coy, and said that information would be on the website in the morning between 9:00 and 10:00 am. I said thanks and left...

And before I went to bed I looked at IORR and... voila! I checked the club's website! Jackpot!

Again, thanks to IORR!

Also pleased to have returned some Stones-favor to Mr. Blackdog.

I wasn't online last night, so I missed it.

It's probably just as well, I have to be in the city later in the month, so I shouldn't really spend the money for a second trip.

But...but....I do wish I could be there, so if anyone does have an extra ticket, please send me an email.
