That's what I thought--thanks Dandy!

Most likely Mac is the cue for when Keith and Ronnie should start singing. Look at how fast they are running to the mic after Mac starts grinning smiley

Where is Mac during Shattered?

Behind his keyboard, howling in the mic.

From the upcoming DVD !

Looks and sounds great--thanks!

Video Overdubbed?? WTF look at 2:22 to 2.30.....back up vocals (this is the sound from Still Life, i mean overdubbed like the LP version, not the TV broadcast)

It's the exact audio from the official bootleg mixed by Clearmountain. This is the audio of the broadcast. All the guitar parts and vocals match perfectly with the video. The background vocals you hear during that part may have been added in the official bootleg or they mixed in Ian Mcclagan's vocals higher so it can be heard.

It's Mac.

Then again try this

and look at 30:13, still can´t hear background vocals, can´t hear Mac. Although I remember "Blind Date 79" (the boot) where there´s a song were it was hard to say who was singing, Mac or Keith (always believed it was Keith and finally it was Mac (don´t remember what song....). But after years of having various bootlegs of Hampton, I never hear Mac on Shattered, maybe you´re right maybe not, but it looks strange in this new version.....
Anyway......Great release!!!!!, i´m dying to get it, and to get more shows "from the vault"

It still blows my mind at how awful they start that show!

Obviously, there were some technical problems during the intro, which they haven't been able to correct.

I don't know the dates, but I've seen it posted here on IORR. The guitars sound like Ronnie and Keith.

The new Keith vocals were already on the promo video of TIOMS that was shown on MTV at the time.

Oh. Yeah. I was simply referring to the two that were mentioned. The bridge in LSTNT has a third guitar in it... that one always made me wonder... 'who the hell came on stage and played that one part?' when I was younger and didn't know about LIVE ALBUMS having overdubs!!!!!

How much of the movie is overdubbed? From what I've read Jagger wanted to overdub new vocals on EVERYTHING! What an idiot!

Why can't they just be what they are live? They're always cheating.

I don't think Mick said that about the Hampton PPV-show, though, where these songs (save Imagination) are taken from smiling smiley

I think it was Doxa who found out that some of the new Keith-vocals were on the TIOMS promo video, whilst some more wound up on Still Life...

Yeah, just the LSTNT movie he wanted to redo all the vocals. I forget where I read that. That and he wanted to record a bunch of covers in the studio and then... I guess make it look live. So much for being a great live act.

They are a great live act. You occasionally have to allow for moronic behaviour...or so my mum told me. Hey?!

Haha, that was the funniest post today? Recorded in a studio? I tell you, Pulse was recorded during the division bell tour 1994 at Earls Court in London. Those shows were simply fantastic. I'm glad i got to see them on the last tour in Gothenburg 1994.

Maybe it was the other live album. Delicate Sound Of Thunder. There was some grief about them recording the set list in a studio for a live album. I really don't know. It does have overdubs on it. I thought it was strange. People say Cheap Trick's Budokan album was done in a studio. People say strange things. But with live albums...

This "live" album is legendaric:

"According to Visconti, the album was "75% recorded in the studio". Other sources, including the band members themselves, claim that the finished album is "75% live"

Got the Blu Ray from a local store. The Video doesn`t look good on a big screen, so I made a frame around it. It has the same TIOMS version as the audio bootleg, which was thought to have overdubs. At the beginning you can here a big cut where the audio switches to the bootleg version. Miss You clearly has some vocal overdubs too. The "ah-ah-ah-ah-ah" part at the beginning sounds totally out of place. Then the video isn`t always the same quality. Some parts are as worse as as we know them from the bootlegs. I think they doctored a lot from different sources. I haven`t compared everything by now.

I think it is an upgrade to the bootleg but don`t except anything new. The camera angles are mainly the same as the ones we know. I don`t know if there are even differences as mentioned before. A bit of the backstage footage is included as well as the naked woman.

Edit: some of the Miss You vocals could be from the Let`s spend The Night Together Movie. Sometimes they don`t match the video at all. this makes this release unwatchable for me. I want to see and hear the real thing. This is a shame.

So is this the same mix on the Google Download? Trying to determine if it's worth buying the CD just to rip it in iTunes if I already have the Google version.

And I know there is a separate thread on this, but on the LA Forum - did we ever figure out definitively if that is a different show than the google download?
