good grief

this thread has a lot more legs than I ever thought it would have

or needs

ex-rockstar bonehead Nugent says a lot of dumb things, and his songs are even dumber

the only time you ever hear about this guy is when he says another bonehead thing, not for his music, that's for sure

he's a draft dodger and over rated musician more famous for his insane violent fantasies than for his music; these days he fits squarely into the 'washed up' category

are you guys trying to win an autographed deer skull or something?

Well if not for this thread "More Hot Rocks" wouldnt feel much a part of IORR. He only seems to post in this thread (20 of his last 30 posts are only this thread) (although his hatred for The Foo Fighters helps him contribute there)

Good to see Ted bring back Derek St. Holmes

They made peace some years ago. BTW, love him or hate him,
Ted ain't boring. Good showman. Don't see how anyone could
be close to him though.

In Other News ... The Springfield allegedly was in talks
last year with Red Rocks ... what a great night THAT woulda been.

One of the most underrated rock guitarists out there. all because of his politics. And part of his current persona is purposefully over the top. But he has the balls to say it like he sees it. Nut job only to those who dont have any balls.

So it's true. You don't have a job.

You ask that in a way that makes it sound like a bad thing, maybe it is the term you use... job... I aways thought they should call it something else, use another term... maybe call it an Ice Cream Cone... it sure would sound better, ya know?.... that way when I have ask for one, it would not sound like work, it would sound like fun! Like when I am driving down the road I could say to my girlfriend "This driving sure is boring how about giving me a blow ice cream cone.

As far as employment status, marital status, personal info etc etc??
wtf do you think this is? facefknbook?

nut job to those who have any brains in their noggins. as for a guitarist, well, Nugent is an old rocker from waaaaaaaay back, in fact waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, waaaaay too far back. maybe one day his gun will backfire.

I agree, I regret having put the topic.
My objective was to talk about his music, but the other concerns are overtaking the musical aspect of the topic.

Still, not many fans here, which doesen't really surprise me.
I ain't a big fan either, but I had my Nugent period being a teenager, and in some aspects, live performances of some more recent bands made me think of him.

Nothing wrong with bringing up the topic, Doc.

However, the endless debating about something which in reality is a matter of politics is another story eye popping smiley
