I spent 2-2 1/2 hours trying to call and/or get through to tickets.com for Bruce's show in Buffalo in 4/12, and by the time I got though, only 300 level seats were left! I guess I am going to have try to go the day of the show and see if I get lucky with a ticket drop.

Right, becasue he's playing huge markets like Buffalo,Albany and Greensboro and only has 1 show scheduled in Los Angeles. None in Chicago and his ticket prices are still lower then most major acts. Get your facts right will you.

There's no way you can possibly say this seriously on a ROLLING STONES forum. I love the Stones but their prices are outrageous! Bruce's prices aren't exactly cheap, but compared to the Stones and Van Halen who are charging $175 a ticket, Bruce is pretty respectable at $108.

No,No need to get myfactsright. I knew people would react like you.I love Bruce´s music, but think the price is too much. This, also goes, for the Stones prices.
so, you should get your Facts right.

no, not you ST, but then again you are not a lover of his music. Nobody is worth any price if you don't love their music.

Jessie's Girl was always my favourite Springsteen song.

i never understood why bruce apparently wanted to distance himself from it by releasing it under that thinly-disguised psuedonym.

NEW YORK (AP) — Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at Harlem's historic Apollo Theater next month.
The March 9 show is three days after the release of Springsteen's "Wrecking Ball" album.
It will air live on E Street Radio. Subscribers can win tickets to the event, which is part of SiriusXM's 10th anniversary celebration.
The announcement was made Wednesday by SiriusXM Radio.
The Apollo propelled the careers of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson. It held memorial services for Michael Jackson and James Brown, and a 2007 campaign rally for Barack Obama.
During a January fundraiser there, Obama crooned a bar from an Al Green classic.
Springsteen references Harlem in the songs "Jungleland" and "Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?" But it's his first Apollo appearance.
The world tour starts March 18 in Atlanta.

The expanded line up for this Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tour features singers Cindy Mizelle and Curtis King, trombonist Clark Gayton and trumpeter Curt Ramm, all of whom have toured with Bruce Springsteen in the past along with newcomer Barry Danielian on trumpet. E Street stalwart Eddie Manion and first time tour member Jake Clemons, will share the saxophone role.

Time to swear in the church then. This astride, middle-of-the-road musclerock that Bruce is an exponent of has never caught my attention. To me many of the songs sounds alike as if it was the same melody strand behind every song. In Sweden, where Bruce is bigger than the Stones, we call it "Sosserock" or "Svennerock" as in "Average Joe" (or whatever...) rock. Not hard to get and easy to listen to rock that has an appeal to everyone. Except me then. But I must say that I always liked the drummer!
