I like what Colin Quinn says about Bruce Springsteen in Quinn's new one man show: “If you really gave a sh*t about the working man, would you do a 4½ hour concert on a Tuesday night?”

dumbest thing anyone ever said and i really like colin quinn. at least here in the states springsteen is booked when the venue can have him. remember most of the time he plays venues that have sports teams that play games there and other concerts booked as well.

When you highlight the song Jungleland, that is the incorrect way of doing it, it should be Jungleland!

Considering the size of their music catalog you have to wonder why the Stones play basically the same old shit over and over again. True, you have to play a few of the hits to please the crowd and give 'em what they paid for, but thye Stones could do so much better in song selections and show length. Look at McCartney who blew away the audience at the Bonnaroo Festival here in the USA this past week with the length of his show and song mix. The Stones are coasting. Time for 'em to break out the rocking chairs and set up the shuffleboard court?

You really dont. He did none of that stuff on the Devils & Dust or Seeger Sessions tour. Granted, on a tour like this when youre playing arenas and stadiums its natural but theres probably only about 5 songs in a set thats usually anything from 27-32 songs in length that in the last five years you can be pretty much guaranteed to get every night or 99% of them. Neil Young is playing a set that leans heavily on newer material and unusual songs choices and Dylan's shows have more songs from 1997 onwards than before that period. Scores of his best known songs rarely get played if ever.

Artists tend to end up getting the quality of audience they aim towards in the end.
