I really regret that I won't be able to see The Boss this year. All the shows I've seen so far were a blast and it seems he's getting better and better every year. Honestly, this may sound like a blasphemy, but if someone gave me a choice between ticket for The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park and any Springsteen show I would not hesitate a second and pick The Boss.

Bruce plays a great show but he also has some "warhorses" that are becoming tiresome mainly Born To Run!

There is nothing wrong with playing the warhorses at each show, especially if you change up the setlist as much as Springsteen does!

I am a Stones fan from when I first heard them on the radio and saw them on the Ed Sullivan show here in the U-S-of-A back in 1964. But, I will tell anyone, much as I love(d) the Stones, Springsteen and the E-Street Band are the best rock'n'roll band of all time. Bruce and his band are consistently good, if not excellent, and let the music stand up for itself without a zillion distractions. Just an example of how good Springsteen and the band are:

Forgive me my sins, brothers and sisters, for not being totally in thrall to the Stones, but the band I grew up on and loved is no where to be found. The adventure and excitement of rock'n'roll and how, even when you're older, it can take you some place outside of yourself, is gone for them. I'll always listen to the Stones, but I'll go out of my way to see Bruce. Can't say I'd do the same for the Stones anymore.

Yeah, it was a great treat yesterday in Stockholm when Springsteen played Born In The USA from start to finish,
although I was a bit disappointed when the second song of the evening was Out In The Streets from the River album and it was evident that
The River wasn't going to be played from start to finish.
It was quite emotional hearing Born In The USA in sequence since that was the album that made me a fan of the Boss back in the mid-80's
and it's really a darn fine album as well. Having been to all three shows in Stockholm I must say that Springsteen is the man and that it was brilliant,
but at the same time I wish he had played some of the songs that were aired in Turku, Finland, i.e The Ties That Bind, Youngstown, Blinded By The Light, Two Hearts etc.

I've realized that I have no desire to go to a regular Stones show anymore due to the ticket prices and lack of surprises in the setlist department.
But I'm glad that the boys are on the road again!!!

I saw two Bruce shows last year and they were very good. I also saw the Stones in Brooklyn and it was a better show than either Springsteen show. He is playing about the same songs as last year. he does put morevariety into the shows now but the guitars need to be more prominent.

I heard that the sound sucked in Copenhagen, but the stadium is famous for that. Will be better when he plays a place in Herning where acoustics have been thought of. Haven't got a ticket unfortunately. :-( Really wanted to go, but I can't afford it.

And people were bored to death during parts of the show - too much show biz and too litte music. He should cut Down the consert to 2,2 hour and focus on the music and not kissing people in the audience etc.,
