Maybe there is a law for talkshows in the U.S.? To be a talkshow host you have to start as a standup comedian, have a desk in dark wood with a sofa next to it, backdrop with skyscrapers, mugs, a funny dressed houseband with a weak side kick, predictable standup routines, a staff of 200 "writers", commercial breaks every 8 minutes, late late airing, interns, meaningless PR-photo op-sell stuff interviews, pine stripe dark suits and so on.
