Yeah, it´s a hard lession to learn, and an expensive one too. But in the long run, with things going OOP, it´s the only one, if you wanna be on the safe side

I bought the super-deluxe U.S. version but I would rather have the larger hardcover book and smaller poster than the softcover and larger poster. Not enough to buy a new super-deluxe set, though.

Glad I got the hardcover...what´s amazing is that the size of the box wrapping the whole (european deluxe version ) is exactly the same as the U2 Joshua Tree box.
Same with the size of the hardcover books...almost identically thick.

I think the question of whether to get the Deluxe or Super Deluxe set is one of whether you want the vinyl. The packaging is pretty minor really after the initial unpacking. DHL (well their local contractor) is delivering my replacement Deluxe set today.

Hard Bound Book? Gimme the European version! Super deluxe is the cooler by far. My record player still works perfectly too!

How much would the 69 tour programme be worth now? I got given one when I visted the Atlantic office off Piccadilly in London in 73. It has the same pic on the front as the poster.

I've got my Deluxe Box! And I love it. Sounds really good. I just have to listen to the disc with BB King and Ike & Tina Turner on it.
I've just seen the DVD and it's good to see AND hear Jimi and Mick T. backstage. Really short, but you still can hear them play. Also I've laughed with Charlie and Mick. Good sense of humor. Charlie with his straight face! =LOL=
Talking about 'short'..., that's my only complaint. After I've seen those behind the scenes footage and other stuff, I have to say..., I WANT MORE! Because I KNOW there's more out there of this whole concert!! -sigh- I'm getting tired of all those rights, royalties, credits, and other difficult stuff that makes it hard to make a decent concert registration/release to our consumers and fans!
So, I'm satisfied with this box, but still hungry for more things about this concert.
