Tried to get tickets for the second MSG show but failed. There are a few tickets left to his Brighton show in September at the moment. I don't live in the U.S. So I can't claim the free cd, if anyone is interested I can forward them the email if they would like it. Please feel free to PM me, first come etc

I am going to try and get tickets for the Madison square Gardens show having failed to get tickets for any of the 10 European ones. I respect the fact that David Gilmour doesn't want to do long tours but I sort of wish he would tour more in the way Genesis did on their last outing. As in play 20 shows but in venues that suit the popularity of the artist, just saying he should have booked out

While I reserve judgement on the above statement, my goal in life is too "Grow old without ever really growing up" I've found that the happiest people have achieved this and are not the ones to waste time sniping at others and belittling them.

It's the second time in a year or so that the three of them have been pictured together but the press haven't mentioned Kenney Jones.

I saw them as a four piece at We,bley arena about 15 years ago. The show ranged from great to err..... not so great. Still a lot of fun.

I went to see him with his jazz confusion last year in Kingston, he is still a virtuoso drummer. Wasn't any better or worse than when I saw him a few years previously. The only disappointment was that he didn't play anything from his back catalogue. He is doing a show for his 75th birthday in a couple of months where it's advertised that he is playing cream, mor material etc.

Its kind of sad that its going but it is totally obsolete now. I saw a few shows here and the sound was never that good. I think the O2 is 100 times the music venue that Earls Court was, but Earls Court wasn't designed for concerts! Was easy to get to from my house though!

They had these at the isle of wight festival last year. It was useful as you didn't have to carry cash but I don't think i'd want it for a one night concert.

Usually the BBC show most if not all the show. Its not all at once, they seem to play large parts of it as part of the magazine style main show with large chunks on other days and times and the red button. I know that the U2 set was edited togeather by a fan and put on a torrent site. The BBC did show all (i think) of The Who's set from 2007 a week or so after the event. Most of it wil be

The capacity of Hyde Park is now 65,000. Two years ago it was 70,000 but after last summer they have brought it down. The capacity for some shows has been as low as 45,000. Sad when you consider the crowds that assembled there for shows in the 70's or the 200,000+ for Live 8.

I saw him in London in 2004 and he was excellent. I'd like to see him again but have always avoided it in case it spoilt the memory of the first show. Bit silly on my part really.

Cream Baker (Sweet wine) Bruce (Sunshine of your love) and Clapton (Badge, alot afterwards) Ultimately the arrangement that we all come to know and love is down to the band as a collective unit, so doesn't that undermine the importance of the songwriter as an individual?
