Hi, I am looking for a song performed by the Who in 1979 at MSG called Rock and Roll. It is not the Zep song but an original that they never did anything with afterwards. Can anyone help me track down a recording of it? I can find it listed on a few boots but can't source them. Thanks

I have worked in the music industry for more than 20 years now. The 1 Billion dollars for a reunion tour was genuinely offered to Led Zeppelin. In the end they did the 2007 gig for nothing! Well nothing until they released the live album five years later....

As everyone else is cancelling shows, I will now be taking bookings for my band. With the current UK guidelines we are now a Stadium act given that a maximum of 7 people can attend such a gig!

Bernie Marsden - Under the bridge Jan 24th, Joe Bonamassa guested for a couple of songs! Eric Clapton and friends - Feb 17th Brit Awards - Feb 18th, I was given tickets and only really went to see the Faces. Sadly they only did half a song and the rest of the show was shit.

I am currently doing an MA in music. I used this as primary research in one on my modules a few weeks ago. Its a lot of fun, totally unprofessional and brilliant!!!

Great gig, not that long but didn't feel short either. During White Room I had the epiphany moment that I was watching a musician from The Who, Stones, Floyd and Cream all on a stage even though I have seen them all before together and apart. First live performance ever for a couple of songs. I bootlegged some of the concert. The recorders batteries went after an hour and 23 minutes. I will

Really looking forward to this. Will be a rare appearance of Roger Waters playing someone else song! Must remember to get a new SD card to bootleg it all!!!

You would trouble removing my Strat from the hands of my corpse. Not that I don't love my Les Paul. Funny thing is that I'm a pianist....

Check out the live album "The blues to the Bush", it's recorded over five small shows the year before the Albert hall gig and is again brilliant. There is also a great set from Las Vegas on DVD from that period!

I'm a hard core Queen fan and as such have been pretty sceptical. Trailer was great, I actually thought that was Brian May talking! The guy playing Freddie also seems to has got "the part" down too!

Stadium shows in the UK usually have a 10pm curfew, it's uncommon for the licence to be granted for a later time.

I can't see it happening. the grateful dead only came to Europe twice as far as I know. Bob Wier is the only member of the dead to have come over since Jerry Garcia died. I could see a promoter putting them on in a big venue over here, especially given that John Mayer headlines arenas over here on his own.

My guess is that Santana and Steve Winwood will join him for the encore. Most of his gigs in the last 15 years that I've seen have had the support artist join him. It happened when he last payed hyde park in '08 (Sheryl Crow, John Mayer and Robert Randolph joined for crossroads). Seems more likely with Carlos and Stevie given their histories togeather.

Interestingly he did add Gary Moore's still got the blues back in 2011 just after Gary Moore passed away. Can't remember if he made comment to his passing other than playing the song.

Radio 2 have a live gig in Hyde park usually the first weekend of September. I'm wondering if he is lined up for that. It is shown on Iplayer soon after. Rod Stewart did a great set for them two years ago, ELO and Elton John have also played the show in the last couple of years. Tom Petty fits the demographic of the previous audiences and it would be great publicity for him in the UK as he d

I was really saddened when I read the news. I saw Mick and Bad Comoany last Saturday and his playing was superb. He played more lead then when I last saw him with Bad co. I've met him quite a few times over the last ten years as we don't live that far from each other, this included a very strange conversation outside a guitar shop when he quizzed me about my then new guitar. I hope h

I was massively annoyed that I missed this show. I had to do a night shift for the ambulance service. I went to the show last year which was great less Ginger's leaving the stage which makes more sense when you read his comments and notes that Malcolm Bruce And Pete Brown weren't part of last years thing. I hope those who attended will spoil us with the details but Ginger back on stage
