They aren't playing London? Bit suprised as I would have thought its one the places where they would be guaranteed a good crowd after so many years away. Maybe this is just a foot in the water tour and they will be back properly soon after. Have now booked tix to Isle Of Wight Fest!!! Tom Petty and the heartbreakers plus The BOSS!!!

Hi all, I got an email the other inviting me to the genesis book launch of the new Faces book. The invite says it is to be attended by Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones. Anyone else get the invite say yes? I just wondered how it ended up in my inbox... not that i'm complaining!

Can keith still play and sing? I've noticed this in more recent footage, he stops playing the guitar when he sings. Is it just me failing to notice when he does?

The real reason that keith can't make the stones reunion is that he is helping me restring my guitar collection. Mick's covering for him! Cheers mick (Papers, whats a load of shit!)

Brian May and Ronnie Wood both played with The Crickets at the Wembley Strat Pack show in 2004. They both perform on That'll be the day and the All star version of Stay With Me. There is a You Tube clip where Keith mentions having met Brian May a few times but never really knowing Freddie Mercury. He does may a dodgy comment about Freddie's lifestyle though.

I had the honor of seeing him live with the Blues Brothers band about 10 years ago, afterwards he signed my flyer alongside the other original Blues Brothers Band members and it still has pride of place on the wall. Sad to hear of another loss to the musci world.

Strange as it sounds I like it when mistakes happen, at a recent Sheryl crow show I was at she sang the wrong line and had a giggle with her guitarist.

QuoteThis reminds me of a story a friend telling me about paul simon, apparently he was doing a smaller show in london and just before the interval he invited every body to go and order a drink at the bar and he would pay for all the drinks, in which he did. My parents were at that show! I think it was in 1981 at the Hammersmith Odeon. Venue was definatly the old odeon but I could have the

Bon Jovi do this Live but not in the studio. There reason is that they strain there voices less over the long set. Does sound reasonable and probably easier for audience to try and sing along!

I saw his show in Hyde Park in 2006, the first half was Pink floyd stuff with one solo song and one new song. The second half was Dark Side of the Moon with Nick Mason on drums and was amazing. He finished with Brick pt 2 and C numb for an encore. The first set felt and sounded very like a floyd show but was slightly marred by the sunlight, Waters compensated by beign a great stadium frontman!! w

I acutally put in a bid (or two) on one the guitars, I new it had never been used by the man but it was a guitar i had tried and had considered buying a few years back. The expected sale price was between £200- £400. I was a bit shocked when the bidding shot way beyond that and it sold for around $10,000. At least the cash goes to a good cause!

i'm a big Queen fan but for me its Bohemian Rhapsody. The song has just been played to death, the inovative side of it I liked i don't here anymore due to overplay. There are stones numbers i'm bored of due to overplay too.

I saw the Monkees in '98 (i think) It was the only full reunion tour (i think). The sad thing is that Mike Nesbitt couldn't really play anymore. I seem to remeber Peter Tork playing some of his trademark intros. I could be wrong.

They didn't play Wembley to the small issue of it not being built on time. Bon Jovi were due to open it and had to move there shows to Milton Keynes, the rumor was that the Wembley owners had to pay a massive compensation payent to them because of the problems caused. George Michael eventually set a deal with the new stadium that he would open it at any time and not set a date or sue just so

Classic Rock magazines website says that the rumor is that they are trying to get the classic Guns n' Roses lineup to reunite for next years superbowl. I see two problems 1) Axl hates slash 2) Axl hates Inidana. Just two tiny problems to overcome then.
