QuoteThommie More shows to the European tour 2023, today have Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen been added. A question to those who have seen Waters on the current tour: Where is the best place to see the show? Close the stage or from a distance? Do you miss more of the visual effects if you are too close? Do you see the band from behind as much as from the front wherever you sit? I recentl

Quotewelshphil If the Daily Mail says there's a tour of Australia next year . Then there won't be , So looks like Europe 2 ,South Anerica or USA in that order .. Didn't the big South American tour promoter, responsible for bringing the Stones to South America previously, say SA isn't happening next year? I feel like all the info/rumours for next year are spiralling in c

Is DailyMail a credible news source? There is a reason why they call it «The Daily Fail» that's what I figured, after looking at their site. Fore some reason people are running with that article here and on Shidoobee as t

only we, the fans, can feel the pause. Time is like water, but the stones are the sea. They wouldn't notice it passing.

QuoteGasLightStreet Quote24FPS Quotekovach QuoteHairball I was just pointing that Steely Dan fact out to kovach, and wasn't giving an opinion one way or another regarding what's left of them or the Rolling Stones. Whether either of them are "truly" what they call themselves is debatable, and the right answer probably depends on who you ask. I'm not arguing with you

QuoteGerardHennessy It's all ifs, buts and maybes. They might do this. They might do that. They might do the other. Who knows? Of course it is fun to speculate. And who can blame those in less frequently toured territories from wanting to see the band in person. But we need to remember that next year both Mick and Keith turn 80. And Ronnie - The Kid - bless him, will hit 76 in June 2023.

QuoteGazza QuoteSpud I'm curious as to whether there is a reason for more Canadian dates not routinely being included when they tour in North America ? Most major Canadian cities are geographically located no less conveniently than many of the US dates ...so when touring why not consider the US and Canada as one geographical whole , much as they do with South America ? they do, but Cana

Hyde Park 1 was my fav over the two. I feel like HP 2 would give HP 1 a run for it's money if they had played MLH instead of LAR and played OOC over YGMR... I really enjoyed Angie, but to take it a step further I'd have preferred Fool to Cry over Angie. Those three changes would have been pretty epic.

Quoteloog droog QuoteBig Al Quoteloog droog Mick, Keith and Ronnie ought to call themselves "The Stones" when they tour. Drop the "Rolling" part of the name, and then just keep rollin' on... No! When I attended Hyde Park, i attended a most fabulous Rolling Stones concert. As long as there’s Mick and Keith, in my opinion, it’s the band. Not that long ago the m

Quoteswimtothemoon I haven’t had a problem with the posters from the Rolling Stones site. Although I agree the shipping tubes are very thin from what I’m accustomed to receiving - I also collect vintage movie posters. Unfortunately though, I have had problems with extremely poor packaging from Ronnie’s site. You can still get lucky despite bad packaging. I've received lithos from Ronnie

QuoteGJV I contacted RS.com, because of the damaged Amsterdam litho and they promised me to send another one. I hope that one is not damaged. they use the cheapest, flimsiest, materials for shipping posters. They should use thick tubes and place the tubes within a triangle box--for the prices they are charging. I collect original movie posters, so I've seen very good and very bad packaging

Quotegotdablouse Yeah wouldn't mind going back to the U-Arena, that was a nice string of shows ! The only reason they played there of course was...the MONEY ! As in not having to pay anything (or much) to get the venue as it was being launched and it was a way of putting it on the map. Must say I've changed my tune a bit now after this tour...from when I first saw them in 1990 to 201

Here's an interesting look at the Stones 2015-2022 in North America and EU + UK. If you look at the numbers from this time selection, you'll see the band played 48 shows in the USA, 2 shows in Canada totalling for 50 shows between USA and Canada. In the EU they've played 32 shows and 11 shows in the UK for a total of 43 shows. Only 7 shows more in North America. This doesn

I'm not holding my breath, but they could easily sell out Vancouver, Calgary/Edmonton, Regina, Ottawa/Toronto, and likely any locations they did in 2019--because COVID years are twice as long as regular years, so 2019 was actually 5 or 6 years ago. Jokes aside, 2019 was longer ago than people give it credit for and North America, like most places, has been starved for live music since th

QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack Quotefranzk I think the biggest "surprise" we can count on is to bring one of the songs that were on the song vote list but haven't been played live yet, like Fool To Cry, Shine A Light or Worried About You.
