I loved Night Time, and Get Up Stand Up, which seemed to be dropped rather early in the tour. Never saw Mr. Pitiful

amazon.com actually has the SACDs fairly reasonably priced - about $18 each at the time that I picked up most of em when I read the post about them going out of print. The Japanese ones are more - like $35 for the exact same content/quality as the UK ones, which oddly enough still come with the Japanese writing so not sure what's goin on there. I too love the Japanese pressing - The mini-L

It's funny, KSIE, but I too love the studio version of IORR but don't care for it live. In fact, hearing it kinda diminishes my love for the song.

Wasn't the making of Hurricane available somewhere? I seem to recall watching it...maybe on RS.com?? As for the superbowl, you're probably right Gaz, they probably don't own the rights, which means I'll still have to pick up that stupid DVD.

Sorry Cosmo, HTW just doesnt grab me the way the others do. And I can't even explain why Last Time is my fave. Was just listening to it last night again, and I dunno...it's just a great tune.

Gazza, That is why I missed the Stones show! I remember it well now! Thanks for the memory jog! I was at the first night in Hartford (which would mean that I did hear Memory Motel live - I thought that I had because it's on my tape - I'd thought - of that show) and debated going to the 2nd show, but being a UCONN student at the time, I actually chose to watch the title game over the

Gazza, I stand in awe at what you put down here - thanks so very much for all this info. I have a couple of questions for you... 1. When have they performed Jump On Top of Me? I love that song! Why it didn't make the Voodoo cd instead of Mean Disposition I'll never know. 2. I'm going to check the date of that Hartford show in '99. I find it hard to believe that I

OK just checked my setlists, and I've not heard Memory Motel either! But I did get Crazy Mama on BTB in Foxboro. I also realized that perhaps the greatest show I've ever seen them perform is the one that I can recall the least for some reason (and low and behold in that setlist was Love In Vain, which leaves only Country Honk on LIB as not heard live). Here's the Licks setlist fo

No I mean actually witnessing for one's self the songs on any given stones album in concert - not necessarily at once, just over time. For instance, in the 12 times, I have seen them, I have seen them perform all but Love in Vain and Country Honk live. Ya follow??

Roger Waters' tour got me thinking......since I've only been seeing the boys live since 1997, I have yet to see all of the songs from 1 album performed live. LIB comes closest, I think, with only Love in Vain and Country Honk missing, followed by Some Girls with Lies, Far Away Eyes, and Imagination. How many whole albums have you seen performed over the years?? Looking forward to the

No, not really. I have Biograph and his double cd greatest hits collection (I'm not even sure the name but it's a more recent release - perhaps the essential Bob Dylan? Actually I think that is it). Voice annoys the hell out of me. Great songwriter, but I just happen to enjoy his songs more when done by others - Hendrix, the Byrds. My favorite Dylan song though is Quinn the Eskimo.

Cosmo, Pretty darn close! The 3 Stones are correct, as are the 2 Zep, which leaves these 3: Paul's Boutique 4-Track Demos Best of CCR

I can't have a top 100 without The Cult's Sonic Temple; Cher's Heart of Stone; REM's New Adventures in Audio Hi-Fi; Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood; AC/DC Let There Be Rock and Powerage; Beck's Mellow Gold; Sinead's I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got; Bon Jovi's Crush; Neil Young's Harvest Moon; Bruce's Tunnel of Love and The Rising; Metallica'
