Gazza, That is why I missed the Stones show! I remember it well now! Thanks for the memory jog! I was at the first night in Hartford (which would mean that I did hear Memory Motel live - I thought that I had because it's on my tape - I'd thought - of that show) and debated going to the 2nd show, but being a UCONN student at the time, I actually chose to watch the title game over the

Gazza, I stand in awe at what you put down here - thanks so very much for all this info. I have a couple of questions for you... 1. When have they performed Jump On Top of Me? I love that song! Why it didn't make the Voodoo cd instead of Mean Disposition I'll never know. 2. I'm going to check the date of that Hartford show in '99. I find it hard to believe that I

OK just checked my setlists, and I've not heard Memory Motel either! But I did get Crazy Mama on BTB in Foxboro. I also realized that perhaps the greatest show I've ever seen them perform is the one that I can recall the least for some reason (and low and behold in that setlist was Love In Vain, which leaves only Country Honk on LIB as not heard live). Here's the Licks setlist fo

No I mean actually witnessing for one's self the songs on any given stones album in concert - not necessarily at once, just over time. For instance, in the 12 times, I have seen them, I have seen them perform all but Love in Vain and Country Honk live. Ya follow??

Roger Waters' tour got me thinking......since I've only been seeing the boys live since 1997, I have yet to see all of the songs from 1 album performed live. LIB comes closest, I think, with only Love in Vain and Country Honk missing, followed by Some Girls with Lies, Far Away Eyes, and Imagination. How many whole albums have you seen performed over the years?? Looking forward to the

No, not really. I have Biograph and his double cd greatest hits collection (I'm not even sure the name but it's a more recent release - perhaps the essential Bob Dylan? Actually I think that is it). Voice annoys the hell out of me. Great songwriter, but I just happen to enjoy his songs more when done by others - Hendrix, the Byrds. My favorite Dylan song though is Quinn the Eskimo.

Cosmo, Pretty darn close! The 3 Stones are correct, as are the 2 Zep, which leaves these 3: Paul's Boutique 4-Track Demos Best of CCR

I can't have a top 100 without The Cult's Sonic Temple; Cher's Heart of Stone; REM's New Adventures in Audio Hi-Fi; Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood; AC/DC Let There Be Rock and Powerage; Beck's Mellow Gold; Sinead's I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got; Bon Jovi's Crush; Neil Young's Harvest Moon; Bruce's Tunnel of Love and The Rising; Metallica'

It has always been a dream of mine to see the Crowes open for the Stones - what a great concert that would be. They would have been a great band to carry rock's torch if they could have made it past all the bickering.

Wow! I do believe that we would have been attacked regardless of who was in the oval office. Clinton was good enough to keep us out of world affairs, which, if you ask me, is how it should be. Let the rest of the world fend for themselves and tend to their own problems for a while. You know I really don't care who was lickin his pop. He was one of the greatest presidents this country&

Natlanta, I didn't say I didn't believe Iraq had no WMD just that we didn't find any. I don't believe OJ's innocent either, but there was no proof to convict me anymore than there was to justify a land war in Iraq. You see, Clinton was smart enough to attack from a far, without risking too much bloodshed...

I think most people in the Democratic party would agree with my statement of sending soldiers to die for oil. They just wouldn't have the political balls to say it themselves.

Wow people, I can't believe we've stooped to insulting each other. We've all got our opinions on things this is true, but to go this level is unnecessary. I am a bit amazed at the level of support that some still have for Dubya. All of the republicans that I know (with the exception of my dad, who is almost as radical a born-again Christian) have also turned against Dubya, admit

I do believe FrankM. I also believe that he had his baby bro throw the FL election to STEAL yes steal the presidency away from Gore. The man is friggin insane, and has alienated our great country from the rest of the world. We were already hated, and now it's been taken to a whole new level. We use our resources policing the world for dictators, well who the F is policing our own FIN

2nd show was the No Security tour, Hartford Civic Center, Goo Goo Dolls opened. 6th row behind the stage....Some Girls, Paint It Black for the first time. Fantastic show. I remember telling my parents I was going to see the Stones that night in February, and they were like, but you don't have tickets. To which I responded don't worry about that - I bought them from a scalper and it
